Each week, we tap in with collectors, creatives, entrepreneurs, and everyday heads who keep the culture moving. From wild stories in the resale game to navigating life, family, and business — we keep it real, insightful, and unapologetically rooted in the culture.

Is the Jeff Staple Pigeon Dunk iconic or just a genius marketing scam? We break down the true cost of hype in streetwear.
In this raw episode of The 12 Hub, we tackle the polarizing legacy of Jeff Staple, debating whether his legendary NYC Pigeon Dunk represents authentic cultural impact or simply high-level marketing manipulation. We dive deep into upcoming sneaker releases, including the bizarre design details of the Travis Scott Jordan 1 Lows and why they look like a delayed Valentine's Day drop. The team also critiques Complex’s controversial Streetwear Power Rankings, questioning how Ronnie Fieg, Supreme, and Clint of Corteiz stack up against industry veterans. Beyond the fashion, we share unfiltered personal stories: from extreme bodybuilding cycles and intense diets to a much-needed conversation about mental health and checking on your circle. Finally, we analyze Drake's latest musical rollout, the Kanye West "Bully" album, and how modern artists leverage streamer culture to remain relevant.

What a bunch of middle-aged people talk about shit that don't matter. Like, subscribe and share. Like and subscribe on YouTube. Leave a comment on all of our social medias. And if you're listening to this on the podcast platform, please leave a review if it ain't five stars. Like haven't you listened to it yet? Man, he was just he was just like he was like he was addressing everything he needed to address. He did his little blap blap blaps, and he was all like, Alright, I'm out, bruh. He said sometimes, and I said I I will respect with certain issues that he's been going through, he admitted he was like, bro, that LeBron shit hurt me, fam. Yeah, he ain't acting like F LeBron. I'll I'm making more money. He was like, bro, that bro, I got you tattooed on my body, fam.
SPEAKER_10There we go.
SPEAKER_07That hurt me, bruh.
SPEAKER_10The bromance is real. That was his guy. Yeah, real guys. Yes. This is wait, actually, we started recording already. Okay, but episode 35. Wait, what is it? 35. 53. 53. Drew's age plus five. Minus five. Wait, wait. Drew's age. Minus five years. Ain't that all. It's a joke. It's a joke about his age.
SPEAKER_05A bad one. Jokes are supposed to be funny.
SPEAKER_10Yeah. But yeah, we're coming off our trifecta week where we dropped three pods. Hell of a hell of a drop. Just to celebrate the Drake thing. The watch thing off all the story. The Drake stories went well. Um, the hate for Jeff Staples went well. Shout out to John Geiger for being a real one. Shout out to JG. Real one.
SPEAKER_07Shout out to Geiger, man. Real Geiger's. Real.
SPEAKER_10That's a real guy. That's a that's a real Geiger right there.
SPEAKER_07Real guy.
SPEAKER_10Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_07When I saw that, I said, so you think he could send me a pair of Skater ones? No. At least give me the early access link, Mike. But no, man. Um appreciate him for watching multiple reels, liking them, and continue to do his thing as an independent designer in this space where Adidas and Nike and Brooks and Socane even showing some like headway. He's still doing his thing with the 004, 005. He got a skate model. Not a sponsor, but shout out him, man. He had a crazy new era hat drop that sold out. Wasn't prepared for it.
SPEAKER_10Yo, I could go and find remember those ones, the pigeon ones I was ranting about a while back. They're probably still on that website. He's gonna get you a staple hoodie coming soon. I like the pigeon, I like the pigeon stuff. Drew, very quiet. Every time, I mean, like you're very neutral. As I listened to the episode again, it's like you kind of agree with some of Kari's trolling, but you know I was right about all that stuff.
SPEAKER_05Yo, I don't like what Jeff, I don't like staple, how he's just kind of like picking on the culture or like degrading the culture. I like the clothing and I like the shoes. But the man is questionable these days. I just think his takes are corny. I think he's been like his whole career.
SPEAKER_07I I don't remember him being this like obnoxious shit. Yeah. Now keep in mind I wasn't following him.
SPEAKER_10I don't follow him. But like on my timeline.
SPEAKER_07Like he's given like this because Bobby Hundreds, not to say he did it egregiously, but I remember when he shifted from the hundreds to work at Disney and he was real big on like digital platforms and spaces on some what's that NFT token type stuff. I don't want to say it's a grift, but it's a shift. You know what I'm saying? Like I noticed Jeff Stafel as a person when the digital age of NFTs and stuff started to become more mainstream, and then after the whole situation with the uh dunks that he threw on the power line, I'm like, okay, um, what's happening here, bro?
SPEAKER_05See, I I see it like this too, though. I just think this is the new age of marketing. Come on, H you're a marketing, you you kind of know the drill. Like rage.
SPEAKER_10You throw a real you throw a real that's not rage bait. I'm not gonna argue about rage bait or you rage bait is you going out on the street, harassing black people, calling them the n-word, and like like shut the building. That just sounds like a bad idea, not really rage baiting that and then you're saying you're doing it like for Israel or some shit.
SPEAKER_07But here's the thing that that's rage baiting people, and where I will agree that's that that is fraud. That's literal fraud. You I will agree with H on this point. Everyone sit down for this. It stops becoming marketing, uh aligning with marketing when there's nothing that you're marketing. Like if he did this to launch a new G Shop collab or a Brooks shoe, or everyone was waiting for the product, you know what I'm saying? When everybody was all like, Oh, watch Jeff doing this, something new must be coming out. The initial thought was a retro of the pigeons or reimagining or new color. Then they thought about the area and where he tossed the shoes. Maybe he's opening up a new staple store there. It was the fact that it happened, like you mentioned Chud the Builder. That is more so aligned with marketing because he wants you to watch his stuff. He's gonna say big outlandish stuff to get a view, but like to have this whole fiasco of you're trying to question where shoe comes from, does it even matter? Does rep versus real matter? We're like, okay, why would you?
SPEAKER_10Well, the thing, the thing that the well, Chud that Chud the Builder guy is a little more sincere because he now that it's it's coming out. I I've watched this stuff all the time. He um it's like people didn't take him seriously, but he was probably he was dead serious. He said on the stream he wanted to kill a black man, like that's his dream to kill a black man.
SPEAKER_07There is no way he was so adamant with doing it in public the way he was doing it that there wasn't uh some sincerity in what he was doing.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, exactly. So that's why I said that's why I was saying, like that's but he was rage baiting people to so he could get so he could commit a murder or get murdered. While Jeff Staples took a fake pair of shoes, went out at two in the morning, thinking, Oh, I should throw it high enough, nobody's gonna fuck with it. And then some guy came out, almost gets hit by a fucking car for a fake pair of fucking shoes, and made and then he made the whole industry like like look at him sideways, and then he's in self-driving cars talking to himself and shit. Like the guy well, that was before the shoes. It doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_07It does that was the thing that got you on 10 on the shoe.
SPEAKER_10Well, okay, whatever. It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. No, that was after the shoot.
SPEAKER_07No, it was definitely before.
SPEAKER_10Are you sure?
SPEAKER_07I'm 99.9% sure.
SPEAKER_10Okay, I believe you. I don't care. I ain't gonna I ain't gonna look it up.
SPEAKER_07I ain't gonna when he did the shoe thing, you were like, Let's go back to your fraud, man.
SPEAKER_02Let's go back to the fraud.
SPEAKER_10But the cool thing about it is he probably loves this. And um, Drew, thank you for tagging him trying to get the yeah, I I 100% was sure he would never respond back or do anything. He's not that guy. Hey, if we get him on a platform where he's where somebody questions your values and worth in this industry, he's not going to want to do that because it exposes him even more. And I'm not even trying to expose the dude, I just don't like him. And I want to prove you all wrong, which I have, I think.
SPEAKER_07No, yeah, you can't prove us wrong because our well, I know me, and I can assume Drew, our original point was hey, art from artists that dunk made an impact. Like you can say because it was only 10 pair made, and but it still did, though. You know, it still did. It made it well, okay.
SPEAKER_10There's yeah, there's circumstances, but there are shoes out there, right, that are worth something in the eye of the culture because of circumstances like releases or whatever. They're very rare pairs of dunks that I would say only dunk enthusiasts uh SB dunk enthusiasts care about. I feel like that pigeon dunk, if it wasn't hyped up so much or talking about it.
SPEAKER_04You could say that about any shoe.
SPEAKER_10No, I would wait for that. Well, no, I'm just saying if it wasn't, it would be just like those other rare dunks that were on that list. You know, remember I was saying that one that looks like a Knicks dunk. Why is it even on this list? Whatever. I don't even know what the fuck it is. I don't even know what it is. And I, you know, but it's just like, okay, there's stories behind it, it's worth something, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Jeff Staples shoe would be right in that category. It might be worth $50,000 because there's only four of them. But you know what? To a regular guy like me, it's another great dunk. Don't give a fuck. The what the dunks, though, those shits is fire. Oh, it's got a story, it's got all these different dunks and all these cool colors, or futura dunks. So the various Futura dunks look amazing, you know, stylists, style-wise, and they're they're you what he did was nothing short of just slapping a logo on something, which is cool. But nowadays you got to do a little bit more. You know, the pigeon can only fly so far. I like that. I'm gonna put that on the t-shirt. Ooh, agree to disagree. I'll tell you what, the pigeon can only fly so far.
SPEAKER_05You keep missing the point of the cultural impact from an underground subculture into kind of this mainstream phenomenon. You're you to me, it's just you're you I don't know why you can't accept that.
SPEAKER_07Because it's connected to Jeff Staple.
SPEAKER_10That's why. I don't no, I don't, I don't, I do, I do accept that, but what what makes his release that release so unique? The fact that there was a riot for it, and the only reason there was a riot was because it was part of a rare city pack, and skateboard kids went crazy, sneaker people went crazy. Nike asked. Nike makes a ton of mistakes. Okay. All right, Nike makes mistakes. They ask people to design shoes all the time. How many whack designers have they picked up to design a shoe? Tons of them. He they just happened to ask this motherfucker to do it. Not back in 2005. Okay, whatever. But he got he got lucky and mainly. Look, I'm never gonna question the man's, you know, um, hustle or the fact that I'm not defending the man, I'm defending the cultural impact of that fucking shoe.
SPEAKER_05It has nothing to do with Jeff Staple, it has to do with the shoe, the cultural impact.
SPEAKER_04Um I I don't know why you can't ever kind of meet in the middle, ever, about anything.
SPEAKER_10I'm not trying to, there's no middle ground here. I'm just saying there is a cult, the cultural impact was the event that surrounded the shoe. Now, if 20 people look, let me put it this way: if that band um bread, toe, whatever the fuck, Jordan just came out that was sitting, right? The band lows, yeah. The band lows, right? If 15 kids got murdered in front of a footlocker trying to pick that shit up, that shoe would be fucking fire right now. Everybody would be on, oh my god, 15 people died for this shit. I gotta get it. And then wrong 20 years from now.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_05Look at the galaxy re-release. People were dying for them fucking galaxies when they first released the re-release of the galaxy for the re-release. Remember, I think somebody no, no one's out like that for the re-release. The first release was insane.
SPEAKER_10People, there was a riot for them. Uh yeah, I wasn't around for that, but I don't know. Oh, yeah, it was nuts, it was not fancy.
SPEAKER_05It was a crazy freaking release, so yeah, but then when they got re-released, it was crying.
SPEAKER_10Was it like all over the thing? Oh, yeah, it was fucking pulses. It made noise, bro. It made noise, bro.
SPEAKER_07Okay, yeah, but again, that same thing was same thing. Well, to put it in perspective, where it was definitely on the news, the Concord 11 release.
SPEAKER_10Why are we 2011? But why are we comparing the so the the exact release of a shooter only had like a thousand pairs? I'm comparing it to the really a retro where 15 kids died. Okay, the uh not allegedly, um, hypothetically, right? So hypothetically, 15 children died trying to get a retro sneaker. I think that would build a little hype around it.
SPEAKER_07It would it would build some attention, but like, for example, let's look at the recent Toros, right? I forgot what's the name of the establishment, but they had a camp out form to give people the experience of camping out. But see, here's the thing it's superfluous, somebody could have possibly died or got hurt or robbed, but everyone in the culture would have laughed at them because that shoes widely available. If 15 kids die for this bread band low re-release, people would go, that was a waste of life because you can get them anywhere. You're true, you're absolutely right.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I think also I get point you were trying to make it. I would feel like people would be well let's just say that like it maybe it is a hype release. I don't know. I'm just like you said, it's a hypothetical. If it was a hype release, I just picked brand sneaker off the top of my head. But if it was a hype release and there was a lot of people anticipating it, and even if there's 50,000, 100,000 pairs, you know they're gonna sell out, and it just happens to be that shoe. I think that five 15 kids dying for it will make it more sought after. Just just like that, that release where people were riding on made the evening news, it had a story behind it. And again, Jeff Staples, being a marketer, understood that and used it to his advantage. Mind you, there was no social media, but I'm sure he talked about it, did interviews and all that. He was doing interviews. Yeah, I forgot. Yeah, he did do interviews, tons of them. And he was working at um where was he working? I I don't want to say complex. I don't even think it existed. I forgot the fucking name of the place he used to work at, though. Let me go look at him as a resume. But he used to work at some um uh some magazine or some shit back in the day. So I I mean look, he's he's been around. I I don't I I I hate him, but I don't I'm not gonna discredit the cultural relevance of that particular shoe. Okay that's it. I think that's all right. Oh, he used to work for PB Nation. Look at that. He's a graphic designer for PB Nation. I remember those. Peanut butter nation. No, P and B. Post No Bills. You don't remember Post No Bills? That that clothing line?
SPEAKER_07Rest in peace.
SPEAKER_10P and B Rock, right? Rest in peace. Uh staple design. He started his his design company in uh 2002. Um he got the collab. Okay, here it is. In 2005, staple pigeon releases NYC, pigeon dunk, sneaker, and collaboration. Only 200 pairs were made. I thought there was I thought there was a thousand pairs. 200 pairs that were all released at his store. Come on. A riot erupted at many of the stores where the shoe was were sold. All in New York City, 64,000 around. So 200 pairs were released. That's it. Very rare shoe.
SPEAKER_07I mean, but you also gotta factor in this New York. This is the same place that ride in and fought over the wildly overrated, mass-produced Pilos 95s. Not to say that this is a bad shoe, but they fought for a shoe that you could have got at retail easily like the following week.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, but it's it's all subjective. And they and usually those guys who were standing in line already got somebody who's ready to buy it for like $50 more. They have people like that's how um uh what's his name got started? JC Lopez. He used to just stand in line for guy like rich guys who were sneaker heads.
SPEAKER_07Or whatever. I don't know. Whatever happened to that.
SPEAKER_10I pray for him, man. He's uh just I don't care.
SPEAKER_05All right, so I got a question. Speaking of releases, speaking of releases, do y'all think the Travis Scott release is weird that it's being I was talking to H about this before we hit record. That it's I don't remember a Travis Scott release where Travis Scott didn't release the sneaker first on his site before anyone else.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, his very first ones.
SPEAKER_05Maybe I don't it's funny about it.
SPEAKER_07I don't remember those being straight up sneakers, the highs or the lows?
SPEAKER_10Both, yeah. I got the lows on sneakers, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I don't remember them being a Cactorjack.com release for those. Now I could be wrong because that was 2018. It's been a while, nearly 10 years. Jesus Christ. But um that's crazy. That was 2018, and then the lows came out in 19. Yeah, so I don't remember Travis's coming on to his site back then. I could be wrong. Comments will definitely correct us, but yeah, that's a good point, Drew. I didn't think about that. I've seen raffles at local spots, but I've yet to see. No, maybe because I saw somebody post a notification on Soul Links, and it said coming soon, and it was a link to Travis' website. I think they do have yeah, they dropped tomorrow.
SPEAKER_05They drop tomorrow, though. They might drop over, they might do that thing. Remember, they dropped over the midnight.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, they might just drop them like midnight or something like that. It's still a small window of time. Did you uh you going in for those, Car? Uh, we talked about it last week. I know Drew mentioned he's going for the flip. Me, I just it's still time time to enter a couple raffles, and of course, there's the eventual sneakers drop. I'll I will try. Sneakers drops tomorrow. Yeah, I will try.
SPEAKER_05Um I already took I already took one L. I already got one EQL raffle back. I didn't get anything yet. It's beginning.
SPEAKER_07Do people are people actually excited for these?
SPEAKER_10I think so.
SPEAKER_05I think they'll people really like the colorway, and I was watching um was it DNA show? He was he was doing a review on both of them. And the the kind of interesting point, which I didn't realize, the heart on the tongue on the tongue tag really makes it feel like this was slotted for a Valentine's Day release. So and even the heart on the insole, they've been seen since around that time. So maybe they were produced in October, so they would have been ready. So something happened.
SPEAKER_07I I don't know, but to be honest the colorway when you see what came out in February, it was probably just a matter of people gotta breathe. You had the Levi's pack, the union fragment ones, the warning label pack. Levi's man, man. At that point, like uh what else did they have? Um, Deshaun uh Jordan's SBs were about to drop.
SPEAKER_10Yo, true. Let me tell you something about the those yo, remember when you sent that link to feature that had them premiere, whatever. Yeah, yeah. I went on there, bought a size 12, and they sent me a size fucking five. They didn't got great customer service though.
SPEAKER_07Did you talk to them?
SPEAKER_10I already're not gonna get another pair, but still they'll I gave them to somebody already.
SPEAKER_05I'm just like premiere will take care of you.
SPEAKER_10Nah, it that's whack though, because uh that happened to me on um DTLR with those.
SPEAKER_05That's happened to me on DTLR too.
SPEAKER_10But I I dude, I checked out it said 12. The invoice said size five. It was a size four they sent me this time. I'm like, what the fuck is going on? That doesn't even make sense.
SPEAKER_07And then somebody that worked and needed that 12 bed, bro.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and they just sent me some random. That's right. They fulfilled your order just wrongly.
SPEAKER_10That's crazy, and then and then I'm like, I can't return it, but the you you have to really check. Do you still need a 12 for oh the Deshaun? My homeboy got a death stock paid for 160. No, I already bought it on StockX or running on the retail. Oh god. I bought like 115 or some shit on StockX. Yeah, and I got oh, I got uh the Air Force Ones on StockX or under retail. A lot of man, I'm just gonna do my shopping on StockX now. So Drew, do you have those?
SPEAKER_07The Deshaun's SB Air Force Ones. Yeah, I don't know if we mentioned this. I love it. Mandela effect coming into play, but do they fit like regular Air Force Ones where you would need to go a half size down?
SPEAKER_05Not for me.
SPEAKER_07Oh, they're too they're too small. Because everyone's saying that for some reason this is one of the air forces that you can go true to size in.
SPEAKER_05I but I wear I go true to size in all my Air Forces. So Air Force. But I'm not a I'm not a big Air Force wearer, so um, but those SBs, they fit fine on my feet. I didn't have to went true to size.
SPEAKER_07That your other Air Force ones fit.
SPEAKER_05Yes. Okay. Well, they're a little bit more snug just because of the thicker tongue. So I just feel they feel a little more snug, not tight, but snug.
SPEAKER_10I haven't um tried them on yet, but they uh Air Force Ones for me are always just borderline, not too small. I don't know why. And I can't go 12 and a half.
SPEAKER_05CCS Plus just sent out the in or the entry for the wheat pair that they're releasing.
SPEAKER_07Those are the ones I was waiting for. I'm surprised when I first saw those, I was expecting to see that Supreme small box logo on the hill. Surprised they didn't do that. I'm actually shocked that there hasn't been any type of major skate shop collaboration with them, maybe because the model is still in its infancy.
SPEAKER_05You would think they would juice it that way, though. Like it would be great to juice the collab first and then drip out the GR, but Nike, I'm gonna give y'all some free game.
SPEAKER_07Y'all got the opportunity. He got the opportunity to do one of the greatest things ever. SB peers do not like the idea of a one on one retro of SBs. Remember when DJ Clark Kent was taking famous SB dunk colorways and putting them on forces? You want to honor DJ Clark Kent and at the same time give people who Didn't get those OG colorways a shot at them and not piss off the appearance at the same time. Throw them classic colorways on the SB Air Force One. Oh yeah. Silhouettes are like basically identical to the Untrained Eye. Go ahead and throw uh like he did the Supreme Dunks, the cement lows as Air Force Ones. Go ahead and do that. He's some of the Volt colorway too. I forgot what that one was. He his 112 colorway. Hey man, I would go for some SB Air Force One Jedi. SB Air Force One Flashes. SB Air Force One Sharks. Like, bro, why not?
SPEAKER_05Do it in a mid.
SPEAKER_07So Nike, so here you go. Yeah, mid Air Force One. Yeah.
SPEAKER_10I'd be kind of I like mid-Air Force Ones.
SPEAKER_07A lot of people like mid Air Force Ones as an SB would do way better than mid-dunks. Because man, people do not like mid-dunks. Dunks are ugly, man.
SPEAKER_05I don't like you're crazy. You're all crazy. I love them.
SPEAKER_07I mean, I'm not saying they're bad, but they get a like remember when social status did their mid-dunks.
SPEAKER_05I didn't like that. Yeah, people don't like them. I I think the social status mid, but they weren't SBs, but I think the mid-social status dunks, I have both pairs. I freaking I doubled up on them. I freaking love those things.
SPEAKER_07I think the the few SB dunk mayors that I see get like thumbs up from a lot of people in the culture in retrospect, like the grip tapes were popular, the Donatellos. Hey, those two. Yeah. The Donatello's. What's on the docket, bro? What's news? Uh well, you guys pick up anything last week? Oh, good point. Um, I picked up restraint because I didn't get you.
SPEAKER_10Wait, did I not actually get shit? Oh, yeah, I got I got some of my pickups here.
SPEAKER_07I let my uh regional pride get the best of me. And I got the supreme bullets.
SPEAKER_10What'd you get?
SPEAKER_07Uh sweater. Because I was not gonna give them $298 for a fucking jersey.
SPEAKER_10I got everything. Um yeah, we did see the invoice. I got the hat. It's all it just came in today. The jacket came in, yes. I don't have that with me. But um which jacket did you get the one with the faux fur or the varsity? I got the faux fur. I didn't want the varsity, I didn't like the colors. I got the shorts.
SPEAKER_07I didn't open the shorts. Bro, what was those shorts? Like 200, right?
SPEAKER_10I don't let me see it doesn't say it's Mitchell Linesto. Oh, it's open. Thank you for opening it. I don't know if I'm gonna wear these. I like them though. But I'm trying to put more red into my wardrobe. The sweater's fire. I'm definitely gonna wear that this winter. Carrier gun.
SPEAKER_07XL. Okay, I got a large, I think I do it right.
SPEAKER_10And then these came in today too. Woohoo! The bike, the bikies.
SPEAKER_05Man, I'm so salty. I didn't hit on those things.
SPEAKER_10Twice 12 and a half. This is good.
SPEAKER_05Although resale is is I can't believe how low resales go.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. Bricking. Let's see. Same same with the Travis Scott's. My size went up in price, 345. Travis Scott's not doing well.
SPEAKER_10Oh, wait, wait. Wait, how much did I pay?
SPEAKER_05They dropped huge. You paid over four, man.
SPEAKER_10Oh, my bad. 430. I paid over $100 more.
SPEAKER_05You should be ashamed of yourself. That's not terrible.
SPEAKER_10No, I they're gonna go back up. Uh I wanted them at the time. I thought I would get them so I could do a video on them, but that was four or three weeks ago. And these showed up before the ones I bought on GOAT. It must be coming from overseas.
SPEAKER_07They I think they just if they're coming from overseas, you can guarantee that they're gonna be real because they're sitting overseas from all the uh intel I've seen. People showing sizes a plenty on Nike sneakers on different countries.
SPEAKER_10Mine should be here tomorrow, I think.
SPEAKER_07With the biking culture being so huge overseas, like a lot more people bike overseas. I'm shocked to I guess they don't give a shit about Nigel or BMX biking in particular.
SPEAKER_10Oh yeah, mine are coming from overseas. I got some E E C M S global shipping, it's coming from overseas for sure. With hantavirus included in the packaging. Oh, it just it just oh just got shipped, so it won't be here till next week. Coming from Deutschland. I should cancel the order. I'll keep it. I don't mind. 430, 480. Damn, I paid over 140. When it's already shipped, can you cancel it? Goat's very lenient, but I'm not gonna cancel. I'm gonna block your account. I'm a big seller on there, so you know I gotta block nothing. I got all that. I got um what else? Sean Jordan's off of StockX, and I can't remember what else. I get anything on sneakers tomorrow. We're gonna have those things. Um the the mine the mind oh one and twos they keep dropping in small batches. I keep missing the drops. So those are not getting and that's it.
SPEAKER_07That's gonna be one of our most viral clips. Because we every once in a while I'll look and my notifications still getting responses and likes for what from the mind discussion that we had.
SPEAKER_10Oh, that one, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I did buy a power washer and mulch. I bought a lot of mulch, 50 bags of mulch and a Westinghouse power washer. I'm going to wash my patio on my own. No, I should have looked first before I kind of went.
SPEAKER_05If you need a Supreme power washer, man.
SPEAKER_07I'm about to say I'm surprised Supreme doesn't. They probably did. I'm gonna go look it up. Supreme's uh gift next season will be a small bag of mulch. Calling it now, bro. Better home and gardens coming your way. X Supreme.
SPEAKER_05You know, they did make up a roll of that supreme tape. Are you serious?
SPEAKER_10Yes, they a pressure washer.
SPEAKER_05What'd you get on Supreme?
SPEAKER_10True.
SPEAKER_05I got a roll of their tape.
SPEAKER_07They knew that you were Jewish, so they wasn't gonna sell it to you. Ironically, isn't that a dinner full of Jews though?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, last summer.
SPEAKER_07At that time, Christianity wasn't invented, so yeah, it's a Jews.
SPEAKER_10Should we should I get this? You shouldn't. No. Should you get that? Why you what's the PSI on it?
SPEAKER_07Same with the Air Max 95. Just look at the bottom of that shoe with the same PSI. Nothing.
SPEAKER_10Should I buy it? 20 volt, 200 million. Doesn't have a cordless, even worse. Yeah, I was about to buy a cord. So I have I have an electric one. This is turned into the home and gardening podcast. Um, I have an electric one that I bought initially when we got the house, and I was like, oh, and it would it's it's 2400 PSI, but they say the gallons per minute that it shoots out is more important than the PSI, and it and it didn't have a good gallons per minute.
SPEAKER_07So you're not saying man, you're out here shooting gallons per minute, bro.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, so this one I bought this one is gas powered, it has a uh motor, and 3400 psi, 3.6 I think gallons per minute. I'd be nervous when I got gas because I don't know where things are gonna come from. Yo, if you put on if you put on the zero the zero nozzle, you could cut your finger off.
unknownWhat the fuck?
SPEAKER_10With the water, that's how sharp it is.
SPEAKER_07So that's you can use that on the neighborhood animals, bro. No, don't do that. Oh, I would.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, if I seen it like a square, I hate those squirrels. Uh, but you could edge with that, you can edge like your like weeds off the side of your house.
SPEAKER_07Oh my god, what are you talking about? Fucking crazy impressure and edging, brother. What the fuck?
SPEAKER_03What's going on? We just crossed over now.
SPEAKER_10Once once a year I turn into a gardener. I like to do my own mulching. I don't like to dig holes and shit, so planting stuff ain't my thing. I got a a guy that comes over and does that, so they're gonna plant like new bushes and stuff. Dig your hole. Professional man, hey man, dig holes for me. Pause.
SPEAKER_07This is ethnicity. No, I'm not nice.
SPEAKER_10My my gardener is Hispanic. Yeah, well, my gardener, my my lawnmower man is a white guy, my um landscaper, they escaped the land for me, is uh Hispanic guy.
SPEAKER_07Oh, we're paying them a fair wage.
SPEAKER_10I mean, he tells me what he charges and I pay him, and I give him a tip too. Nice tip all the time.
SPEAKER_07That's tax deductible or is it in cash? Kind of personal you can whatever it is, I just give it to him.
SPEAKER_10Pause anyway, yeah, it's pickups. We got a lot of shoes and a lot of bullets gear and supreme. Oh, I also got the Habibi hat. Oh, not a Habibi hat Oh, I got the Arabic hat. Finally goes in my Arabic hoodie.
SPEAKER_07Which I will wear. If you had a darker beard and got a little bit of sun, I wouldn't be surprised if you told me you spoke.
SPEAKER_10Oh, I'm next week is my uh birthday. Two weeks from now, I'm gonna go dye my beard up so I could look 20 again. Yeah, I won't be if my be in Cleveland. Got a work thing to go to.
SPEAKER_07Cleveland!
SPEAKER_10Yeah, it's on a Thursday. Be back for the weekend.
SPEAKER_07But um This man said I'm going to Cleveland. I've never heard a person unironically, besides if they live there, say I'm going to Cleveland for my birthday.
SPEAKER_10Oh, to work. It just happens to be on my birthday.
SPEAKER_07So, you got any plans? Special pickups. What's the fit gonna look like? First off, you gotta wear a work professional.
SPEAKER_10Just wear like a polo or something.
SPEAKER_07Some mind slides. Nah, that's the I'm gonna wear a sneaker. No, I'm not gonna wear a hat. I should though. She'll wear that supreme one, but I don't know. I'm always hot in the summertime. Wear the bullet shorts there. Let them know, brother.
SPEAKER_10I'm gonna show when it comes to the shortcuts. Those Supreme basketball shorts, man. They're super thick, yo. You ever wear Supreme basketball shorts? Like the not the mesh ones, the professional, you know. Yeah, Drew, you got your they're thick as fuck. They're heavy too. I'm like, how the fuck? And they're they're always like honestly, I should have sized down. An extra large is too big.
SPEAKER_07Heavy are the pants that buy the preem, brother.
SPEAKER_10That's right. It's in the Bible. I read it once. Yeah, not I'm losing weight. I feel like I should start buying clothes since I don't wear them. Like at some point, I'm gonna open some of this shit that extra large might be too big now.
SPEAKER_07I mean, that's good though. You'll be able to use the proceeds of your resale platform to buy larges, man.
SPEAKER_10Large, small. I wanna go small.
SPEAKER_07Brother, I couldn't even see you wearing a small. Neither could I. I don't even think your frame will support that, brother. I don't think you're gonna get that skinny bone. Without without some serious GLP abuse. I'm I'm almost there.
SPEAKER_10Shooting up. Let's let's not, brother. Oh, my advice to people today go see a dietitian, yo. If your insurance covers it. It makes sense. Dog, I didn't I learned things about food that I did not know. I sat with this dietitian for them when they put the chart in front of me and was telling me what I could eat and all this stuff.
SPEAKER_07I don't know why that just tickled me so much. That was wrong, boy.
SPEAKER_10Chat GPT, I don't use it.
SPEAKER_05Bro, I could have written you a whole diet. It's not that hard. I could write you a whole my macrobiotic diet going with your rate, like it's not that difficult. Just eat smart.
SPEAKER_10Eat smart. Well, I can eat potatoes as much as I want, she said. Complex carbs, even though you should fire her.
SPEAKER_05Like that's terrible advice. Eat as much potatoes, not as much, but eat instead of eating rice, eat a potato. Yeah, like a half a potato.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, not a whole potato, or like 10 whole potatoes. Consider how much carbs I eat and the way my body is and the way I process food. So carbs, if I right now that turns into sugar, and the more complex carbs are better for me. And it doesn't it it doesn't affect my whole grains, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Oatmeal, slow burning carbs that don't instantly turn into sugar and make you hungry.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, and they make you full faster and all that shit. And I like my vegetable and shit, so I just gotta cut cut a lot of the rice and stuff. The less obviously lean protein, not so much red meat, which I don't, which I already do already. Um, so yeah, I mean I was I was doing this kind of I lost a quick 10 pounds recently, so I'm happy. I'm just keep going with that type of diet. And the GLP ones, man, you inject that shit. I gotta figure out if I inject it in my eyeball, see what happens. So maybe it'll work faster.
SPEAKER_05I don't know. I'm afraid of that GLP shit.
SPEAKER_10That's fine, bro. This is from the guy who used to shoot up other things. What did you used to say? Yeah, early earlier in life, but East Science has not no, it's not no. He would can I say, or you want to say I don't want to put I mean I already kind of put your business out there, but I'm not yeah.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I used to juice, yeah. Used to juice.
SPEAKER_07I used to juice science has shown the effects long term of using the stuff Drew used to use. Man, they don't know what GLP one's gonna do to your guts in the next 10 years.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, but people well, they knew about the effects of that stuff back then, but it's worse than that.
SPEAKER_05If I knew if I knew what I know now back then, yeah, I probably would have chose a different path because I'm paying. Everybody knew what those things did too. No, no, no, no, no, no. Nah, body acne, your nuts shrink. Yeah, I'm talking the long-term effects of like basically your muscles get so big that your tendons can't support it, so you just deal with a ton of injuries later in life that you probably wouldn't have dealt with. Heart attacks. Well, yeah, I mean, a heart's a muscle, so when you're juicing, you're and you know, enlarging your heart, you're also thickening your blood, which isn't good. So there's a lot, there's a lot of science that hey, listen, I learned of a ton.
SPEAKER_10But this is well-known science back then. When you you was doing it at a time when there was so much science on it, and people were warning people not to use it.
SPEAKER_07He wasn't using like that, he was using um you said that to Mark McGuire.
SPEAKER_10PEDs, performance enhancement drugs, those are different. That's steroids. Is it no? Whatever they were using, it's fine. You're insane.
SPEAKER_08It's fine stuff, it's fine.
SPEAKER_05Whatever he was using is fine now. All right. I would at least I was using natural testos like testosterone. What did they get from horses? Yeah, I want to use horse. No, that's winstrel. Yo, winstrel winnie, fucking sick. Like it wouldn't work for you, but if you cycle testosterone whinny and like do a bulk with D-ball, oh my god, bro. What? Like, that's the perfect steroid eight eight bowl here.
SPEAKER_10He's telling it. Well, you steroid eight bowls.
SPEAKER_05Stack them. Yeah, I mean you you stack things to a big were you? Like I saw you sent me a picture. Well, you never sent me a picture of you when I bulked, I was 280, and then I cut when I was trying to do stage work. I cut to 170 pounds. I thought I was gonna die. My body fat was at literally three and a half, four percent.
SPEAKER_10I gotta see this. All that shit was like on his lips, too. The fat. Like it was just like here. That's the wildest thing.
SPEAKER_05His lips and and maybe on his like eyebrow working out twice a day, freaking until you vomit. My trainer was a professional bodybuilder who was an absolute beast. I mean, his calves were the size of freaking Hughes' head.
SPEAKER_10Yo, I got I got nice calves, yo. I gotta send you a picture. I'll send a picture of my calves in the in the group chat. My calves are immaculate. This is pre-soriasis, by the way. Now that I got this, I gotta get rid of the psoriasis somehow. I hate it. It looks like I have like two big scabs on my legs. Because you know psoriasis, right? People get that. Yeah, I can't. It's just it's not growing any fat, but it's just these two big ass like gross things on my legs that they're just uh I used to have such beautiful legs.
SPEAKER_07This is what the people who subscribe to the shortcuts.
SPEAKER_05I know that wear shorts. Can't can't imagine people you know not scrolling on after hearing that.
SPEAKER_10I just can't imagine. I'm gonna yo, the the the the thumbnails giving me a cat picture.
SPEAKER_07That's it. I've made a decision. People who send me your stare passively while driving, who snapped out of their blank stare because the red light turned green up. I'm like, what the fuck are these motherfuckers talking about?
SPEAKER_05I like how H outs me on every freaking stream.
SPEAKER_10What are you talking about? These are things you talked. We talked about you said it on another podcast in private, bro. No, you talked about it. No, you talked about on the pod once. I swear you never wonder why my contributions to the chats are minimal. And I could oh if you don't want me to put it in here, I'll cut it out.
SPEAKER_05Now remember, I respect boundaries. Anyone that knew me back then and saw me knew that that that was not natural, I did not look natural.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, that's so cool.
SPEAKER_05I did natural for two years. Like I did it naturally for two years and and achieved great results, but it was a lot more work, man. Diet was diet's key. My diet, I was eating 7,000 plus calories a day. I was waking up every two freaking hours to eat. I put used to put chicken breasts on a stick and just grab them out of the freaking fridge and just eat it like a popsicle, bro.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah, you was living like an actual Neanderthal.
SPEAKER_05It was awful.
SPEAKER_10If you can go there, I don't know, man. I like to eat, but I like to eat without purpose. I just like for without taste. Yeah, I can't like, you know what I'm saying? You don't get this big. Like, see, there's two types of types of big. When you eat with purpose, you turn into this muscle-bound Drew guy. When you eat without purpose, it's me. I'm sitting here eating a bag of Doritos because shit, it tastes good.
SPEAKER_07I was talking about Doritos earlier today. That's crazy. Doritos have slept on.
SPEAKER_05Yo, that is crazy because Catherine literally last night it was like two in the morning. She's like, she she woke up. I woke up. She's like, I want Doritos. She got pregnant this morning. Bro, no.
SPEAKER_10You put it um no WMD in her or whatever, so she don't get pregnant. Weapons of mass destruction. What's it called? I D E P M D.
SPEAKER_08What's it called? This man said D I U D M I U D. I U D.
SPEAKER_05Oh D. It's like you blow that shit up.
SPEAKER_08O B G Y N H over here, boy.
SPEAKER_07I don't know what that D.
SPEAKER_10I am not a gynecologist, so we can tell. Yeah, I don't know. You asked. Yeah, I get that wife. Yeah. That's wild, man. It is wild. So what else is pickups? Um, I'm not gonna talk about releases, but we did Travis Scott. That's it. Uh um, oh, you sent the list of the street power ranking. Do you want to do that now? Do you want to do it in the let's do it now? It's relevant. We here. Let's jump into it.
SPEAKER_07Let's do it. Pop it on the screen, share, share a tab. Let's see. Let's see of news and knowledge in the industry. Complex flex flex. Bang! I pulled it up. This is the second week in a row. We're talking about a complex list.
SPEAKER_05It's list season. Is it? I don't know. Is it?
SPEAKER_07Oh, I'm not saying that.
SPEAKER_05I was gonna say I don't remember like a list season. Usually end of years list season. Made that shit up, bro.
SPEAKER_10I don't know what I'm talking about, bro. I don't know what I'm talking about. So this is the streetwear power ranking. 25 cards. It's a they literally made cards for these things. Okay. No, they didn't. This is like it's a graphic. Okay. Complex 26. I'll just skip all the words. Um, did I have pictures? Show me pictures. Okay. Number one, Gucci Gil. Nope. 25. ASAP Rocky. Thoughts, prayers? What are we thinking here?
SPEAKER_07Definitely prayers. Because allegedly his girl ain't streaming song.
SPEAKER_10Nah, that's um Drake. Drake wouldn't move out to the West Coast to marry her, then she settled for this guy.
SPEAKER_07But we don't remember before the complex sneaker podcast went radio silent. That upscale Vandal was saying he was putting in serious footwork, no pun intended, at uh Puma. And the stuff that he left off with is the stuff that ASAT Rocky inherited. Now, I think they probably would have cut that from the episode if it wasn't some semblance of truth. Can't speak on the now because I don't know where Upskill Vandal is and where that platform is, as far as that podcast is concerned.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, stop doing it, right?
SPEAKER_07But personally, now I'm just looking at his Puma deal because he's got um Ray Bans that drop, and he's got his own brand that dropped a bunch of album merch. But in the realm of sneakers, what we talk about on this podcast, for the people who love his monstros and all his other stuff, shout out to y'all. But it's not, it doesn't like jump out at me. Even when it's on sale, it might get a second look at out of me, but I don't know. Maybe it's the models he's using, maybe it's the wild prints and pre-age looks he's going for. But shout out to him for making the list at least. Because I know it's probably a lot of competition.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, it's a pretty prestigious list. But his stuff, he he doesn't have anything else. Let me see. I'm on his website right now. Yeah, he doesn't have anything up here, just album promo. Look at this.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I'm pretty sure he doesn't sell his Puma stuff on his site. I'm pretty sure you gotta get that through Puma. And then I know for a fact his I've seen his Ray Bans in a couple stores. Once or twice, they're cool. He's got a really expensive Ray Band model that's super futuristic looking, that's not the traditional waferer, but they were priced so high up. I'm like, brother, you can get a pair of products for that price. So I opt it out. He's doing his thing. Shout out to that album drop. Did you listen to Don't Be Dumb?
SPEAKER_10I did some marketing for it. Oh, word. What did you think about it? Um, I like it.
SPEAKER_07The pot.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, it was good. It was good. I told you that story, what happened with the marketing stuff of that?
SPEAKER_07You did not?
SPEAKER_10Oh, so they were doing a billboard in Times Square, and we were doing the activation. So I was like, I sent them like a proof of it on the bill on the billboard in um on the Nasdaq building. And it would the guy was like, the billboard guy was like, yo, you know, it's kind of blocking some of the words and stuff, you know, they might want to change it. So I sent it back to the head of marketing over at uh RCA and they were like, and I and they were like, Oh, can you um can you do it and figure it out? And you know, we'll give you credit or whatever for it, like like the art. It's like word. I don't know how they're gonna give me credit, but whatever. Oh for sure. So I redid the whole thing and like four. This is why we were in um, Drew, when we were in um where were we? Uh the conference, remember?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, Florida, right?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah. I was all hype about it because I went upstairs. I was like, oh, I gotta go finish this project. So I was doing it in the afternoon. I fit it took me forever because they I don't know how to use Photoshop for shit. So I'm in there playing with all the elements and stuff, moving them around. I figured out Photoshop and like a and I did a pretty decent job, I thought. I sent it back to them, they were like, nah, let's just go with the original. And I was like, fuck, what the hell, bro? And I'm like, whatever. And I told the guy he has to activate the original, and then when we saw, and look, this is why I'm not like Mr. Arts and Crafts here, but when it was live, the original looked great in Times Square, man. I was at you know, I said people taking pictures by it and shit. I saw it on the end. Yo, it went viral. Uh, we got pictures done, professional ones. Uh, didn't need them. The the the the ones that they did over there did great. I do I did take credit for doing the LA billboards, but it's not as you know, the the the Nasdaq building. If you look up the Nasdaq digital billboard, it's ridiculous. It's not the best placement, but like for the like 10,000, no, it's $25,000 a day to have like uh a thing in there. So we didn't know. ASAP H, bro.
SPEAKER_07You're gonna join the team, yeah.
SPEAKER_10Right. I didn't do nothing. I mean, I just I just did that, but I didn't I didn't really do anything. Great must send the distract your way, bro. It's coming. Maybe you know, I've been canoodling with the enemy.
SPEAKER_07Angelo bar back bark, I've heard Bach, I've heard Bach A, but Angelo from awake. I know who he is. Um, I I want to see what the rest of this list shapes out to be because considering he came off of a pretty viral five, and his ships weren't bad. He had crazy apparel to go along with it. I know a lot of people are mixed on his sixes, but he got a buzz right now. He just did a gap collab. I thought he'd be a little higher, but we'll see who else is on here.
SPEAKER_05They're starting to tease the fours, too. I don't know if you saw the awake fours. Hellstar. Yeah, you can keep that trash.
SPEAKER_07I don't wear it personally. Young'uns love it, and their Adidas stuff looked pretty good. I wouldn't wear it, but okay. Willie. Willie Chavrier. I thought he'd be higher considering all he's been doing with Bad Bunny and with Adidas. But he deserves a spot. No complaints so far.
SPEAKER_10I don't even know who this man is.
SPEAKER_07Get it, get educated, brother.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but you were talking about you were talking about.
SPEAKER_10Oh my god. I thought it was Martini and Rossi the liquor.
SPEAKER_03Rossi, get out of here.
SPEAKER_08I had no, I said.
SPEAKER_07So for the people who don't know what we're talking about, H says. I thought that was Martini and Rossi. Like the Supreme and Nike are collaborating with Martin De Mold on a thing.
SPEAKER_10That's Mob Deep line, right? Um Rartini and Rossi, Aste Spumante, and I don't know. Oh, wait, that was Biggie. That was Biggie, right? I don't remember who said that. Martini and Rossi and Aste Spumante. Who said that?
SPEAKER_07Martin said a Supreme collab like a year ago. I mean two years ago. How do you not know who this is? You're a Supreme theme, bro.
SPEAKER_05That was the advertisement. Martini and Rossi. Aste that was literally the the the freaking jingle. Oh, really? Yeah.
SPEAKER_10I don't know. I just Google her. She don't exist, man. There ain't no martini and Rossi chick on anything. Martini Rose, who? Martini. I thought it was Martini and Rossi. I thought that would have been cool the liquor, man. Y'all see this? Y'all hear this. Hold on, I'm looking at this this lineup. Philistine over here, man. Martini Rossi.
SPEAKER_03That's a good color for you, by the way, Kari. That that color shirt, that's that's a green. That's a good color for you, bro.
SPEAKER_07Pinkish purple. Hey that's matching with the uh paralyzed vans on. Should I had to do it?
SPEAKER_05Oh, snap. Fits on point today. I had to do sham. I had to do sham.
SPEAKER_10Oh, Martini and Rossi, Asse Sponni is the name of the isn't this what I just said?
SPEAKER_05Next! Keep it moving.
SPEAKER_07ADHD ADHD H strikes again.
SPEAKER_10Martini and Rossi. Who the hell fuck with that line? It had to be mob deep. Tism tism Molzac over here. I do not have no autism.
unknownStop it.
SPEAKER_07Brother, you actually might.
SPEAKER_10Stop it. It would explain a lot.
SPEAKER_07The spectrum podcast.
SPEAKER_10I am no longer excited for the Martini and Rossi fucking. Because you keep fucking her name up. I didn't even know who that was until you corrected me. I thought it was a liquor. I thought it was the liquor brand and the and supreme and whatever. I was like, that's pretty dope. I wouldn't even sent that. Takachi. I love this guy. That's interesting.
SPEAKER_05He's he's that high up on the list.
SPEAKER_10Like he's so happy.
SPEAKER_07Considering this is complex's list and all he's done in the past, he pretty much got a guaranteed spot on the list.
SPEAKER_05No, but I'm saying I thought he would be high, I should say higher up. Oh, you meant the other way. I feel like yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10It was up with ready-made. They they've been kind of quiet lately. With I mean their collapse, I've never really looked at their stuff. Ready-made. I have those ready-made blazers. Very complicated shoe.
SPEAKER_07That's the nice, that's the nicest thing you could have said about that shoe. Complicated.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I I pulled them out the box expecting expecting to wear them, but I didn't even know how to like lace them or anything. I just got you again. Everybody got me on that one. Joe Fresh Goods? I think he's overrated.
SPEAKER_05Uh I highly disagree, but yeah, I don't overrated, I think, is a bit strong. Yeah.
SPEAKER_10Okay, he's basic.
SPEAKER_05Yo, Dak's even worse. Well, that's like not over. What he's done for New Balance is insane. What did he do for New Balance? Okay, all right. All right. Next. I'm not even I'm not even gonna glorify that with a response. What do you mean for New Balance?
SPEAKER_10Wait, what, what action Bronson does the same thing for New Balance. What are we talking about here?
SPEAKER_07Action Bronson is a gym, a legend, and a standout guy, but him and Joe don't do the same thing for New Balance, didn't do the same thing for New Balance. I don't think Action Bronson would have a New Balance collab in the same cultural sphere as it should be in, or that it is currently in without Joe's who had the better colorways, in your opinion. Of the 1890? Of any of these shoes. I just I just like the colors. I mean the action that they've collaborated on. Um, like Joe, Joe got that original 992 Anatomy of a Heart, but it's hard to top down, brother. I love the purple, purpose. I love everything Action Bronx does for the most part, even some of his more experimental stuff, like with the 1890. But I think with my style, I like Joe's stuff a little bit better. But he got more time and more models and more colorways than he's touched versus action.
SPEAKER_05I like action stuff just because it's more colorful.
SPEAKER_10CPF and probably the only reason yeah. I'm a CPF. And he's white, like white, you gotta keep it with the culture. Next. Hey, no, don't be a race trader.
SPEAKER_07I I'm not. I uh you look racially ambiguous. Like if ChatGPT scanned you and tried to figure out what race you were, it'd have the spinning circle, like it was trying to connect the Wi-Fi over you for a little bit. They were like Hispanic, Wayan, Black Indesian, Albani.
SPEAKER_10Yeah. If I got a nose job, I'd be like an Italian guy. They'd be like, You Italian? No, I got a nose if I fix my nose. Cynthia Lou, Cactus Plant Flea Market.
SPEAKER_07I'm biased. I love everything that woman touches. I just bought the CPFM. Um what'd she look like? Ba Balaklava, because uh because I'm dumb.
SPEAKER_10Wait, which one? I mean they made the one that came out with the Nike stuff?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, the rainbow Sherpa hoodie ACG. Homeboy had it, wasn't wearing it no more. He was like, Man, just give me what I pay you for it and like 50 bucks. That's it.
SPEAKER_10That's that's it's been all over their mouth and their hot breath under that.
SPEAKER_07He never wore it.
SPEAKER_10Oh, okay. I thought you said you had dude.
SPEAKER_07It's something about face masks that if it's been open, I'm not gonna lie, I won't put it on because I'm like, bro, your mouth been on that, brother.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, so let's say you eat some garlic knots or something, and then that smell, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Garlic knots crazy, bro. That's twisted up bread, bro. Just get a pizza, bro.
SPEAKER_10Facts. Depends. I mean, I like a good garlic knot. Oh, you guys aren't for a lot of people.
SPEAKER_07You know what? Let me stop. Let me guess. Yeah, you can get a good garlic knots. Because I won't shit on breadsticks, and that's just a pizza pizza.
SPEAKER_10So I ain't gonna yeah, breadsticks, yo. The only breadstick I fuck with is Papa John's breadsticks. In the world of Olive Garden breadsticks, you don't fuck with them? I mean, I'm talking about takeout pizza, but Olive Garden is up there, yeah. I need Olive Garden breadsticks. Do Papa John's got good breadsticks? I've never had dog, their breadsticks are like the whatever gluten they they're extra.
SPEAKER_05It tastes like trash, you terrible, they're awful. I don't even know how you say that with the same like I'm about to say, have we had a conversation about this?
SPEAKER_07Because I feel like Drew hates Papa Johns and I've known that already.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I I do. I don't know if we talk, I don't remember talking about it.
SPEAKER_10What do Papa John's do to you? Nothing, I just think their pizza's trash. I don't like their pizza, I like their breadsticks. I mean other pizza's fine. I don't think they're pizza.
SPEAKER_07That shouldn't be the thing to me with.
SPEAKER_10Garlic sauce, though. The little pepper in there. Yo, dog, the peppercini, you put that on the pizza with the fucking butt that butter, uh, corn oil, motor oil mix.
SPEAKER_05If I'm gonna waste calories on pizza, it ain't gonna be on Papa John's. Let's put it that way. Do you like uh Pizza Hut? I think they're all about the same pizza slab.
SPEAKER_07I mean, but at least Pizza Hut can get the little 777 there, you ain't gonna break the bank.
SPEAKER_05Yo, I used to know this girl in college where literally she would buy pizza, she would get Pizza Hut and she would pour all the grease from the pizza in like a like a uh ramekin, and she would dip the pizza in the grease. When we would go somewhere, she would ask for extra grease to dip her fucking pizza in. She was probably like a hundred pounds soaking white. I don't know what's the trainer now. I don't know if she's still alive.
SPEAKER_07Oh, thank god. Fragment man, man.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, that's that is crazy. Fragment man.
SPEAKER_07He belongs on the list because you know the ones did numbers this year, but I'm not a big fragment follower.
SPEAKER_05So I like the clothing. I have a lot of fragments or not a lot.
SPEAKER_10I have a he doesn't have a store. I just learned he doesn't have a store from this article, neither is CPFM. She got a web store. I'll give CPFM this much though. That shit is fire. This stuff, man. I have a couple of the old and new. It's kind of simple.
SPEAKER_07I'm a casual, I don't know nothing as far as fragment outside of collaborative pieces. The stuff he did with Travis Scott, I have a couple of those pieces, they're good. We know you do. Yeah, one thing Travis Scott loved to see when he launches an apparel collection that won't ship for four to six weeks is H's credit card information.
SPEAKER_05That's right.
SPEAKER_07You can get a you can get a backpack to go along with your 12 backpacks you don't wear, a pillow, you'll get some pillows. My favorite moment you don't get the pillow. My favorite H moment when the Travis merch uh drop happens. I bought an XL, you know. Sometimes Travis Scott shit fits super oversized. I don't know if it's gonna be a blanket on me, if it's gonna be a tank top bro, but you know, I bought two.
SPEAKER_10I have not, yo Doug, I don't wear any of that shit. I bought a bunch of merch over the years. I've not put one garment on my body yet. Not one, not one, and even like I even did to Penn State gear. I did unwrap the t-shirt planning on wearing it, and I didn't. I just hung it up in my closet. Still got the tags on it. I got an embarrassing story.
SPEAKER_07I went out of many, I'm sure.
SPEAKER_10I went out um to dinner. And you shit your pants. No, no, no. I put on a shirt that was in my closet that I had worn two times already. Ran into a neighbor of mine over at the restaurant, and then I'm like talking to him, and I go in and I you know I give him a hug and all that. Uh, the wife, the the guy's wife, and she goes, Wait, stop. I'm like, what? She's like, the tag is still on your shirt under the RP. I'm like, what? Like I wore the shirt out like three times already. And I was like, what are you talking about? So it's like a button-up shirt, you know, I wore it over, and I'm like, oh shit. And I yanked it off, like, damn, thank you.
SPEAKER_07He was planning to resell that shit. Yeah, or return it.
SPEAKER_10It smelled like cologne and stuff, they would have caught me. But that was a moment. I was like, damn, man, it's gotten to the point where I'm popping tags without even hey McLamore. Popping tags. Tags.
SPEAKER_03It's all um I'm gonna pop some tags.
SPEAKER_10That's uh uh who um outcast, outcast my pocket McLamore's uh version, or what is that thrift shopping?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_10That's a dope song. I feel bad for him, yo. Why Kendrick Lamar messed up his career too, or tried to. Well, he actually messed his career up. Okay, all right.
SPEAKER_07Um revision this history. Look at you defending a white man.
SPEAKER_10In this case, if it's Kendrick Lamar, yeah, I would defend the white man on that one.
SPEAKER_07You know you would.
SPEAKER_10Just against that that guy. Throw that MAGA head on him, brother. We know who you are. Don't do that. Don't do that. We we didn't we didn't do that. Casual politics come as Palace. Palace.
SPEAKER_07Okay, for a second, I was like, who we looking at right now?
SPEAKER_10I'm not Maul, yo. I'm not MAGA, not MAGA Mall.
SPEAKER_05Palace. Um, yeah, man, I like Palace. I don't know if I put them with that on that spot on the list, but yeah, I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_10This is weird. One of their key collabs was not Ralph Lauren Polo. What? Yeah, they did they did a polo. I know, but they didn't put that here as a key collab. That's like better than a Visual or Uggs. Come on, yeah, but I don't sleep on the Visual.
SPEAKER_07I like Evisu, but it's to be honest, man. The Nike stuff, I'm not gonna say it's underwhelming. It's been solid, you know, but you know, you start off with a total 90. Yeah, the Air Max 95 was cool. A lot of people should pick up the resale tank, but I still think it's all right. And now they just number one.
SPEAKER_10We're not even there yet.
SPEAKER_07We're only on by now, but uh put like just guessing, yeah. OVO Virgil, Virgil. Oh, Virgil, oh yeah, Virgil's dead. Virgil's passed away, though. This is like dead or alive? Is this is is is this all time or power rankings? But to be fair, Virgil could still be on there because of the VA. Is Virgil, Pharrell, Nigel, Robert Pharrell being the top 10? I'll say Travis too. Yeah, Kanye. I don't think they're gonna put Kanye.
SPEAKER_10I think they will. He's on this list somewhere.
SPEAKER_07I don't think he's number one, but oh, you know what? Definitely complex complex didn't blackball Kanye because they named him the most influential person of like fashion like recently. Or he was up there in one of those type of lists. Supreme, man. Whoever wants Supreme.
SPEAKER_05Well, it's changed so much.
SPEAKER_07The last person I knew who was a creative director of Supreme is Tremaine Emery. I don't know who took over after him.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, he well, then he had that.
SPEAKER_10We talked about that uh other pod. Yeah, show show me and I started another podcast, by the way. Um I don't even know why. We just started doing it, but we were talking about Tremaine. The rich caramel skinned people puff. That's a good one. I like that. I might have to take that, yo.
SPEAKER_07I have to take that. Yeah, I might take that. Call that what's that? Uh oh oh Werther's original pod, the WAP pod.
SPEAKER_10We have to do that, yeah. We were talking about Tremaine. He had a bad like I'm not I'm not a big denim tears guy, would never wear it now. I mean, back then I would have been pretty cool, you know.
SPEAKER_07Everybody had a little denim tears. It's like a black chrome hearts. Come on. That's what it was. Hey, bro, we not ever tell him that. Don't tell who Termaine that boy, you uh flate that man head so high. Oh you might be getting free denim tears for life from that statement. Shit, I could go, I could go to the print shop.
SPEAKER_10I'll go to the print shop and get some fucking iron ons and make that happen.
SPEAKER_07Um just lost your deal, bro. You just buried it.
SPEAKER_10Any hell yeah, what number? 15? Underrated. Under Oh, they won't let you vote more than once.
SPEAKER_07It's Europe. Well, he called it. You said he was gonna be on here.
SPEAKER_10I told you he's gonna be on this list. Um, but number one, yo wait, wait, wait, everybody call it.com? No, I haven't. I need oh no, I ordered uh the bully album um and some merch. Uh like no, the bully merch. They had a nice hoodie and I got the album autograph, but they said an auto pen wrote the autograph.
SPEAKER_07Um he's updated his site with uh order tracking.
SPEAKER_10It hasn't shipped yet, and some people have gotten theirs already. So wait, okay, who what's your prediction for number one?
SPEAKER_03I'm going Virgil. I'm still saying Virgil.
SPEAKER_07Virgil? What do you say, Kari? Uh man, Virgil's he's swaying my influence. I was thinking somebody like Nigel. I might double down with Drew.
SPEAKER_10No Amy Leondor, anybody, or none of that? No? Teddy Santis. Um Teddy Santis or whatever his name is. I don't know. I would expect him to show up around this area, to be honest with you. Uh, who's the other guy that does the shorts and shit all the time with the sports stuff? Um I know you didn't think about Eric Emmanuel. Eric Emmanuel. Yeah, no way. Pack him up. Uh, he's gonna be on this list. I highly doubt that. You don't think so?
SPEAKER_05I I'll be curious where they put gallery department.
SPEAKER_07Uh that's still a thing. Yeah. Is Greg Betty gonna be on the list? He got Vans out of the club. Do they have the Cortez guys on here yet? Cortiz, you mean um Clint? He had a hell of a year.
SPEAKER_10Every year Supreme's gonna be number one. I'm just saying say Supreme. But like whoever they're talking about people, not brands, though. But whoever runs Supreme, James Whitner, he's still relevant.
SPEAKER_06Oh, here we go.
SPEAKER_10They're putting out Air Force Ones, yo.
SPEAKER_07I fuck with him.
SPEAKER_10I buy everything on my manier, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Like he just they just showed he's doing the Pegasus premium, he's got a bunch of Air Force Ones, Witcher groups working with Adidas as well. He's doing the time, bro. I can't I can't be mad at him.
SPEAKER_10The new Air Force Ones suck though, man. I saw the I don't like them. I mean, I know they're probably top quality and all this shit, but swack. I want to see some colors. I don't want to see the same fucking shit. All right, be fair. Them Air Force Ones are nothing but color though. And this bullshit right here, just make it one fucking store. They're all the same fucking store.
SPEAKER_06Annoying, I agree. It is annoying. Yeah, they the Whitaker group would have sufficed, but I don't get it. I think so.
SPEAKER_10I guess they have like high, I don't know. I've never been to an APP. I've been to both of these social status and I've never been to an APP yeah. I don't even know that where that is. Is that like an online store? Whatever. Okay, so Whitaker's on here. Good fine. What about Kith? I wonder if it's a good one. Termane Kith Man, Ronnie Ronnie Five.
SPEAKER_07That's a good point.
SPEAKER_10I'm not gonna say he would be number one. Man, he might be in the top ten, though. This guy doesn't look happy or like he has a diabetes neck.
SPEAKER_07Diabetes neck is wild, bro. I had that for a while.
SPEAKER_10I didn't even know that was a fucking thing. Dark, the dark, dark.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That is the thing for people with like glucose issues, yeah.
SPEAKER_10Yeah. How you know that's not a shadow. From his beard, bro. Okay, I got the same thing. Well, not anymore. It's going away since I'm I'm losing weight, but uh nah, he's doesn't look healthy.
SPEAKER_07He's living his good life, bro. He's living off good old okra and watermelon, man. Not being right. That's a you see it on his apparel. That's all I'm saying.
SPEAKER_10Okra and watermelon.
SPEAKER_07Okay. Oh, that'd be a fire podcast like grits and eggs.
SPEAKER_10Okra. Yeah. Yo, you fucking grits and eggs? I try to listen. I like his clips. I can't go through a whole podcast. It's been a minute since I've listened to a whole podcast, but I fuck with Deontay, man. I like yo. I don't see this is what gets me, yo. You know he's half black and half white.
SPEAKER_07That means he can speak to both sides. Pay attention.
SPEAKER_10Don't though, man. He be so pro-black. I'll be looking at him like sometimes your mama white or your daddy white, somebody in your family white or white as whatever. So do you respect them at all?
SPEAKER_07Well, y'all can have a four-way fight because you biracial.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, well, three-way, because it's like he be dropping an N-word like nothing, though. He be saying like something. Do you say that in front of them whites? Drake fan, brother, don't do that. As a biracial person, too. I'm about to say, as a biracial Drake fan, don't do that. Drake black as fuck, though. He run the culture. Clint. Oh, wait. Who's the fucking the guy with the shoes? The sponges, sponge, what's his name? Zalehi Benbury. He might be on this list too. Yeah. Who's Clint Ogdinia? Bruh, Cortiz. Oh, okay. Sorry, I had no clue. I don't fuck with this shit.
SPEAKER_07I don't know names. I know who's going to be a good one. Martin Rossi. Who the hell? You literally was all like, I bet Cortiz won't be on this list. Who the hell is Clint? I don't know their names. And we can call him Cynthia CPF stable. Wait, wait, wait, wait. You think your your your hero Jeff Staples is on here? He might be number one. He might be number one. Yeah, I don't like anybody.
SPEAKER_05Yo, watch watch H's head just completely explode.
SPEAKER_07I wish I could Photoshop this list to put him number one.
SPEAKER_05I know me too.
SPEAKER_07Because you already know he's not on it.
unknownThat's crazy.
SPEAKER_10I wonder who these people I'm gonna be like agree just because they look um Yeah, I ain't gonna lie, I need to see the name.
SPEAKER_07I can't tell who this is, all fan.
SPEAKER_10They don't even put their name. Edwin, oh Solomon. Oh, Carhartt. Carhartt. Carhartt whip. So oh is that the woman? Uh what's her name? Sakai Woman?
SPEAKER_05No. I actually don't know. I don't know anything about Carhartt.
SPEAKER_10Oh, these are two, they're the same people. I mean, that's I'm sorry. I thought that was a picture. It's a couple that never got married.
SPEAKER_07I forgot the woman who does uh Sakai, but uh Sakai woman. Yep, definitely Cynthia Sakai. Silence. Oh, that's not oops. I'm racist.
SPEAKER_10CO of bait.
SPEAKER_07Oh for Sam.
SPEAKER_10All European guys with beers look alike. Man, if it ain't the same.
SPEAKER_07Speaking of bait, where Nico at on this list?
SPEAKER_10Nigo is on this list somewhere. Right here. Number nine.
SPEAKER_07It's a that's petty putting them two next to each other.
SPEAKER_05I know, right?
SPEAKER_10They they think they slick. Yo, Kenzo is fire, yo. I ain't. I mean, I seen I I'm making their look books and shit. Same. Kenzo's fire. Kenzo's like high fashion shit. I was about to say something insulting, but let's just say go ahead. Go ahead. I'm just saying in general, all of us. This is Kenzo's not meant for us.
SPEAKER_07Well, of all the offensive shit you said, that's one of the least. That's a truth. It's a truth. I was gonna say, like, you know. Kenzo's not meant for the blacks.
SPEAKER_10Or the poor.
SPEAKER_07You already know you've crossed the line when you address a demographic of people with an S at the end. Black people versus blacks.
SPEAKER_10Yo.
SPEAKER_07Lower income versus poor.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_10LGBT. Yo, somebody got at me when I said that. When I said that when I said that shit about the Ottomar Piquet watch or whatever, I was like, the poor's. I was like, the poor. Yo, motherfuckers was like, who's the poor? Like some guy DM'd me. Was like, yo, that was like I I felt this. I'm not, he's like, I'm not, I don't think I'm poor, but I felt insulted because I like that watch. I was like, I like it too. Well, it's for the poor. My bad, yo. Y'all are crazy.
SPEAKER_03The poor's.
SPEAKER_10The poor's. Oh man. Um, Nigo. Yeah, Nigo. Shout out. Yo, we're almost there, yo. He's had a um I said Supreme was gonna be number one. Whoever does it. Jeff and Young Felg Speeder. This is like the most fraudulent brand ever.
SPEAKER_02What?
SPEAKER_10Talk about flea market shit turned fucking. Come on, this is like flea market wear.
SPEAKER_07I'm above the age of 30, so I I I don't get it.
SPEAKER_10Look at this. This is all they do is fucking hoodies and t-shirts and look at this.
SPEAKER_07So are you saying young thug is this generation's Jeff Staple? All he does, he just takes the shoe and he just puts a frickin' spider on it, and that's all. If it wasn't a spider, I've never liked spider.
SPEAKER_10Take it from Drew. Hey man, it's not trash. It's just not for me. It's not for me. See, you stole the words right out of my mouth. The youngins love it. Uh they do. Oh shit. Okay, ah, damn it.
SPEAKER_05I was like, damn, man, you just you just ruined it all. Sorry, guys.
SPEAKER_10I spoiled it. Sorry, guys.
SPEAKER_05You'll have to do it.
SPEAKER_10No, it doesn't matter. I mean, nobody's gonna see that. Teddy Santis. I don't even know who's number one. Teddy Santis. Yeah, see, I predicted they'd be on this list. Oh, you knew they was gonna be on this somewhere. I don't have any uh Amy Leonardo. Do you guys have anything? Nah, I respect it though. I like it. I do too.
SPEAKER_05It's uh like where's Kid Super? He wasn't on the list.
SPEAKER_10No, that's low-key. I like Kid Super, man.
SPEAKER_05Love Kid Super. I'm shocked that Stussy's this high on the list, to be honest.
SPEAKER_07Nah, Jerry, come on. Yo, yo, you're right.
SPEAKER_10Overrated on Jerry Lorenzo.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, brother, especially after that last Adidas drop.
SPEAKER_10Let me tell you, man. Look, you you made the same shoe with two different companies. How the fuck did he get away with that? Yo, and he got a bag too, yo. I mean, he's a yo, look. Jeff Staples, Jerry Lorenzo. I respect this guy a little bit more because he did work with Kanye and he managed to get two big bags from two of the biggest shoe companies, or two the two biggest shoe companies. So, and he got that that fear of god shit. Essentials is still like a popular casual brand.
SPEAKER_05No, but it's so fucking boring. I'm so it's like it's literally you can't tell the difference from five years ago till now. There's like nothing different.
SPEAKER_10You remember when they were reselling like essentials, like top dollar?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10Jesus Christ. I had a yo dog, I had a back um end pause coupon for their website. So it's a special like employee page. You go there, my friend sent it to me. He's like, Yeah, use the code. Bro, it was marked down already plus another 30% off. I'm getting shit on sale now.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_10Oh, yeah, I know. Yeah, this is but back then five years ago. Oh, yeah, that stuff was reselled. Oh, remember the resale shops had it. It was insane. Yeah, I don't know. For essentials, I think, really? And I go to the website and it'll still be available. Like, why the fuck is it going like all this high? Whatever. Where'd Kari go? To the bathroom or something? All right. I don't know. He's number five. Pharrell is number four. Okay, so we kind of predicted the top, at least everybody in the top ten.
SPEAKER_05I might have put Pharrell a little higher on the list.
SPEAKER_10Me too. The stuff he's doing at Louis's cool. I like it.
SPEAKER_05Just his diversity from all the different lines he's fucked with, from Louis to ice cream. I mean, just pleasures. I just feel like he he he kind of is to put I want to say the new Virgil, but he's kind of really pushed forward. I mean, the Louis Vuitton stuff. He up there.
SPEAKER_07Now, look, I don't wear any like a seventh collection fear of God or eighth collection, whatever he's on. Essentials is not the powerhouse that it once was. But to put him in Pharrell one after another, bro, those two men are doing completely different things in the space. I don't agree.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's funny. I just got my next L from for the Travis's.
SPEAKER_10So congratulations. Thanks for sharing. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Oh, watching the next on the list, because Drew just said him.
SPEAKER_10Uh congrats, you're invited. Oh, that was the channel. I didn't get anything yet. The raffles are running, but I did. Um I think I messed up my oh, somewhere entry for low. Sorry you lost.
SPEAKER_07There you go. I just I just left somewhere not too long ago.
SPEAKER_10Okay. Um I th I think Travis will be next on the list. I mean, you saw me scrolling, so Travis.
SPEAKER_05I think this is crazy. I'll agree. I would he would not be in my top five.
SPEAKER_10Well, he's overrated 84%. People are just haters.
SPEAKER_05His cultural impact is crazy. There's fans. Yeah, but his clothing. I'm not a fan.
SPEAKER_10I dress like you're putting him above Pharrell.
unknownCome on.
SPEAKER_07I think from a uh uh streetwear, yeah. I mean, let's even look at like release window. Like, what does he dropped? In compared Pharrell had his Louis line, the jellyfish, he's had those flat earthers, he's got a lot going on, producing albums, just redropped, you know, uh the ice creams, the the redrooms. Travis has had certain colorways of the jump man jack, and now these ones just the imp the output is just isn't have them next to each other, yeah.
SPEAKER_05But it's just shoes, like the clothes are um in my opinion, his clothes are trash.
SPEAKER_10The merch, it's hit or miss, and when he does collab merch, I would tell you like when he did the fragment, Nike, any of that stuff is better quality than his regular, you know, touring or concert merch.
SPEAKER_07I'm sorry, like if I'm if I'm working with Reebok, Adidas, and Louis Vuitton, and the dude dropped what three shoes in the last year, and some of them could be had under retail. I'd be like, Ain't no way who oh Supreme Man, number two.
SPEAKER_10I was close, I was the cloak closer than both of you, closer than both of you.
SPEAKER_05I wasn't sure because Supreme has just changed hands so many times.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I didn't even know who was running Supreme at this point, but they've been kicking ass. Everybody who says Supreme Day has been eating their words, yeah, fighting $600 for it. Use MM6 hoodie.
SPEAKER_10So can I get my damn Supreme microphones already? What the fuck's going on here? They have not dropped. I thought they would drop earlier. That's not the most hype thing. Don't they usually save the the best like accessory for last? I don't think the microphone's the best thing. Ronnie Fag is number one. Wow. I mean, we thought I didn't even well I knew it would be on this list. I knew he was gonna be on this list.
SPEAKER_05Uh he wouldn't be my number one. I mean, I like Kith. I I I rock a lot of Kith, but he's overrated according to the public. So this listens to me. Have you ever you guys probably haven't been in a Kith store? It's it it is very reminiscent of it.
SPEAKER_10You ain't been in a Kith store?
SPEAKER_05Nah, I've been in a couple. It reminds me of Fear of God. It feels like uh essentials, the color, like the line of color or lack thereof, just feels like essentials. It just it's all these monotone browns and beiges. I I like Kith for their treats line.
SPEAKER_10I think their treats line is good, but you know, he he bit the that aesthetic from um Pharrell when he first got with Adidas. Remember all the Pharrell stuff? No, the Pharrell stuff, um the very neutral pastels and monitors. It was a trend.
SPEAKER_05I mean, it's I just I feel like that's the only thing they do. Yeah, they yeah, but Kith athleisure.
SPEAKER_10Kiff, I I don't follow Kith like that, but Ronnie's style is is interesting.
SPEAKER_07It was one point, man. The internet would wait on Beta Breath for a new Kith lookbook. What celebrity could he tap to wear varsity jacket, fitted jeans, and a pair of runners? You know, Jerry Seinfeld, Al Pacino, uh Idris Elba. Let's go, brother. Let's put him in a coffee shop in the mid-century New York. Uh you know, back with a vintage car and turn the filter up real high. And boy, you're gonna go get those GR992s with that subtle Kith brand on the heel tab. Yeah, bitch. Yeah, be like that.
SPEAKER_10Um interesting. Okay, so another thing that's Drew sent us cantaloupe calves. My calves look better, bro. Fat false. Can I put this on the screen? Go for it. I'm not gonna I I don't I have to go search for my picture of my calves, but I do have. Uh nah, it's calves, yeah. You ever you watch uh Entourage? You ever watch Entourage?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_10There was a um There was a scene where Johnny Drama saw some guy walk by and he saw his calves and he was like, So what's it said? Where'd you get those calves from? Those implants? He said those implants. Look at this. Look like cantalose, man. We're even smuggling fucking.
SPEAKER_05I was after I was like 10 hours of snowboarding, right? After 10 hours of snowboarding.
SPEAKER_10Jeez, good pump. I got so your definition is different. Can you get a side? Oh, you just took that. Okay. The side profile tells everything, and I'll I'll look for more.
SPEAKER_05Well, they don't look like that anymore because was it three years ago? I was snowboarding. I was on my first run, and I just was being stupid, and I got wedged in between a rock, and I was going pretty quick, and my body went, but the board stayed put and you know, in my binding. So I was like, Oh, I felt something snap in my calf. I was like, that didn't feel good. So I being the smart person that I am, I snowboarded the rest of the day. Sounds right. And then the next day I went out for a morning session, and I was like, yo, my calf is killing me. And then I walked around Vale for like, I don't know, a couple miles, and then I told Catherine, I was like, You gotta take me to the hospital, something's wrong. Yo, I tore my entire calf, like tore it, done. So now it's all goofy looking. Ugh. See, steroids are bad, kids. Stay away from the juice, ruins your body.
SPEAKER_10This wasn't your steroids, that was fucking uh snowboarding.
SPEAKER_05I'm just saying, yeah, but I'm saying, like, it's destroyed my muscles. Destroyed. I tore my peck.
SPEAKER_10That sucked. I'm gonna show you something that's gonna destroy your your your calves. Watch. Here we go. Show you a calf, yeah, yeah. Like nothing.
SPEAKER_05No one is tuning into this. No one wants to listen to this, man.
SPEAKER_07Nobody does. I just want to throw Joe La Puma's calves up there to have a calf all.
SPEAKER_10Yo, what this is Drew's feet. That was a sweat. That was the that was funny. Did I go viral? No, it didn't go viral. I wish it did. That was hilarious. That was funny episode. So he's like, Oh, you you might not been there for this one. He's like, Drew did Drew offers me a pair of shoes, and I'm like, I don't touch your sweaty ass feet, dirty sweaty ass. And then he goes, I'm gonna break in your house and put on all your shoes. I was like, No, don't do it.
SPEAKER_05That will be funny, though. That would be funny. I'm gonna try on every freaking pair, all 700 pairs or whatever.
SPEAKER_10I can't wear them anymore. That'll be some fucking volume.
SPEAKER_05What are you looking for right now? I'm looking for my calves, yo.
SPEAKER_10I shouldn't do this on screen.
SPEAKER_05I was like, I I'm afraid to see what's gonna come up. Why this is my Instagram? Why do you have your calves on Instagram? Why not? Come on, bro.
SPEAKER_07That's not the model that you thought it was, bro.
SPEAKER_10Yo, scorpions, scorpions.
SPEAKER_07Okay, yeah, that was a wise financial investment. Like the most premiere running model that they still produce to this very day.
SPEAKER_10Yo, Supreme Valor suit. What is this? What's I doing here? That's my dog. She was all white back then, she's gray now. Okay, this is going too far back. Let's see. This whole segment is going too far.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Speed it up, bro. There was a calf pick right there.
SPEAKER_10Oh, there it is. You know, that's that's muscular. I got two feet, man. Nah, nah, that's definition, and looks good too. That's what the that's a difference. So now this this calf that I took the picture of, right here, there's a big ass fucking like psoriasis scab. Disgusting. It used to be so clean, man. This is just two years ago, maybe. Fuck man. I feel like somebody threw acid on my body. Fun. Yo, people left comments and shit. Did that go viral? Yo, there's mad comments under this. Lovely, incredible.
unknownWhat the fuck?
SPEAKER_05Spectacular, really nice. Calf fetish people fucking whacking off to your calves. Like, oh man, so muscular.
SPEAKER_10Really nice.
SPEAKER_05So much definition.
SPEAKER_10Yo, it's I never saw these comments.
SPEAKER_05Take off your socks. Let me see your feet.
SPEAKER_10Take off your socks, Cory. Yo, anybody. I must have paid for those comments. I had to pay for those. That's probably not real.
SPEAKER_05Those feet match those sexy ass calves. They do actually.
SPEAKER_02Yo, you think that's gross?
SPEAKER_10You gotta tell a girl that shit, ask a girl that shit. It's crazy. Hell no. I wouldn't do it. It's wild. Why not? Nasty, bro. After the after it clicks with them, they'd be like, no, get away from me. Shout out to the calves, though. Now you got you got big, I mean, those are some cantaloupe calves, yo. You definitely cavaliers. Yeah, Cleveland Cafholiers. Okay, let's talk about Mickey Mills. Why did he do this? Why did he file the copyright or the trademarks after this shit happened?
SPEAKER_07Cornball. So the same guy that was haggling with people at SneakerCon for a lower price, by the way. I mean, that's just you should do that. Don't go, bruh. If you gotta do that with the amount of revenue that you should be bringing in, or residuals and royalties that you have, go away. He's very wealthy, though. He's wealthy.
SPEAKER_10He invested in fanatics. So don't do that beachy shit.
SPEAKER_09He's rich.
SPEAKER_10At least 100 milli. I'm pretty sure he blew it on some bullshit. But I'm no better. Um, I like this shoe actually. I still have not gotten a LeBron 23. I need one. Thank you.
SPEAKER_05Yo, it's crazy to pay over retail for LeBron.
SPEAKER_10Depends the special boxes. There's one just special boxes that are like collectible. So I wouldn't wear these. Like, where do you like if you're hooping? Number one, these look too nice to hoop in. Number two, they look they don't look like a shoe that you'd just like throw on with a fit.
SPEAKER_07Like that looks like a show with LeBron's for years now.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I know. Uh I think the LeBron would argue forever. 18 you could kind of wear. That was the last Air Max one, I think. Or not the last Air Max, like the next one.
SPEAKER_05You could get away with the 20. The 20 wasn't like a crazy looking silhouette. At least it was kind of subtle, but paying anything over retail for that shoe is even paying retail is crazy.
SPEAKER_10Did anybody I mean, besides Meek Mill being kind of cheesy and corny for this? Anybody else say anything in the media? Because I have nothing, no words.
SPEAKER_05I just like okay, you're just trying to fucking I don't know if it's gonna get a check that close.
SPEAKER_07I do want to talk about oh go ahead. Meek Mill. When I first heard about dreams and nightmares, I didn't initially think it was some type of meek mill involvement. And then when I saw him get mad about it, I'm like, bro, you don't own the phrase dreams and nightmares, brother. Now he does. But when I saw the graphic that they were using, I said, okay, now come on, y'all.
SPEAKER_10That's the same font as the album, right?
SPEAKER_07Sort of the same font, and then the same image of the big cat and the person on the other side of the blending into each other, the same kind of color scheme. Now, Meek Mills corny, and everyone's all like, Well, you should have trademarked it beforehand, but who would think that Nike marketing marketing uh giants that they are would dig in their bag and pull that out and do that. You know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. Nah it's not the same.
SPEAKER_10That's the same artwork. Huh? It's not the same font or anything as um But the art but the album artwork assembly is it not?
SPEAKER_07No. Oh, that must have been a Photoshop image.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_07So they're just using the phrase. Correct.
SPEAKER_10Oh, they make me shut the fuck up. I forgot the album cover. Very dope album, by the way.
SPEAKER_07Oh well, get over it, brother.
SPEAKER_10That song with Drake that he did. Amen. That's one of the best songs ever made. Uh uh. Amen. Jeremiah's on the hook.
SPEAKER_07Boy, shut your ass up. No, it's not one of the best songs ever made. It's a decent song. Best song ever made, boy, stop. Like in history? Like since since man could make music. In the 2010s. Boy, fuck no. I I like um what's the other one? Going bad is a better collaborative song between them than that.
SPEAKER_10Rico's good too.
SPEAKER_07Yo, Rico was underrated. I might just get hit with the Rico. Dad's only sick. That shit's fire. You could like Drake calling McConnell. That song is objectively good. But you just named two songs that they've done together that's better than Amen.
SPEAKER_10Amen's dope. I mean, it's it's it represented a good fun time in my life. That's why. That was around that time.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_10So I'm not gonna downplay it as you know. I believe music is in moments. So like there's the last real moment they had with music was this recent Drake album. Before that was Takashi 6ix9ine Gummo. So I can't it goes you have a cursed playlist.
SPEAKER_00Nah, it's fire. It's fire. Wow, I hate to be in the random song.
SPEAKER_07I would have to put the air palette max on noise cancellation. Yeah, marker too. I'm like, oh, wrap it up. Yeah, well, yeah, this is that's so yeah, it's a cornball. Uh it is considering like the art album art didn't get aped, and that was a Photoshop image. Yeah, Meek Mails. You took the two generic words that are synonymous with each other, you either having a dream or a nightmare, and you think you like you just owned that, okay. Freddie Krueger, get the fuck out of here. And then you're gonna trademark it in retrospect. Yeah, Nike, Nike, like damn, now we can't do it for the LeBron 24.
SPEAKER_10Shit, he got us. It's wild how he didn't realize that that shit gets published online, or maybe that was that fake. I don't even know. But either way, yeah, I think it's let LeBron eat. He about to put his plate away soon, man. Let him have his little fun.
SPEAKER_07What is this uh LeBron thing you sent? Football? Something um he's a part of so Adidas went viral for taking his biggest stars and doing a big campaign for the World Cup, and like he said, hold up, wait a minute. Y'all thought I was finished. I see it all comes full circle marketing. Um, so they tap their biggest uh people on their roster to do promo for their World Cup rollout, and uh it's stapped. I find it Drake and LeBron aren't pitching next. I mean, yeah, Drake and LeBron are in the ad, but not next to each other.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, the World Cup's gonna be like three miles from my house.
SPEAKER_10Damn, you going?
unknownNah.
SPEAKER_10Wait, they're playing in different stadiums across the country, right?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, but the one stadium that we have a huge soccer stadium here, like huge. So it's literally three miles from the crib.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, they didn't get all these people together to do this. Oh, you it's clearly all the musicians are in the middle. Is that Taylor Swift? Oh no. Who is that? Up here next to Kevin Durant. Who is that? I can't see.
SPEAKER_07Drake definitely had to pretend to like Kevin Durant's 19th signature shoe. Asian traffic.
SPEAKER_05I definitely ain't T Swift. Central season is come here.
SPEAKER_10Come here, girl. Hey, look who came to join us.
SPEAKER_07Trash Hot Track Air Force One, Central Season's number one uniform.
SPEAKER_10Truffle bear.
SPEAKER_07Truffle, what do you think about the Nike World Cup?
SPEAKER_10This guy plays for Holland. I know him. This guy right here in the corner.
SPEAKER_07Oh god. I'm surprised considering you didn't know half the people in that power ranking. You know somebody from there. Probably.
SPEAKER_05Talk about obscure, man.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I forgot his name, but we did a campaign for him. That's how I know who it is. That makes sense. Okay. Work related.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_10He's a friend from work. Face a Holland or some shit like that.
SPEAKER_05I can say I don't watch soccer. I just don't. Football. No shade. Just it's not something I've I've found a passion for. No passion for no soccer. Whatever.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, we're Americans, so I never saw the people call you dumb for that.
SPEAKER_10You're kicking a ball around with a fucking. Yeah, I'm gonna make your calves the thumbnail, by the way. How to take it to the next level.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, don't I mean soccer's like hardcore? I could never imagine running that field like those guys do. I mean, that's or those people, I should say, men and women. It's crazy. I mean, that's uh God.
SPEAKER_07Soccer and tennis, I look at those two sports, and anyone who are skilled enough to make money doing that, I'll be like, God bless you. I was watching some of the matches from the Rolling Garrett's today, and I'm like, Coco go, how, bro? She's sick.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, she's good. She's thick. So is that Japanese girl? Yo, did you see that thing where they got on her Naomi Osaka for having the uh the party with a bunch of black people? Well, you know she is also black. I know they got mad at her because she had a party with a bunch of other black tennis players, and it was like six of them or some shit, and they took some pictures. Everybody was in the comments, like, you know, why can't why can I come? Isn't that shit crazy? I don't know.
SPEAKER_07If there was a big cultural celebration, like if Drew was all like, hey guys, having a thing in my house, it's uh Jewish, Hebrew heritage appreciation. We're gonna have Jewish cuisine and we're gonna, you know, light up uh uh I I can't remember the the thing from hunting. Good God, we're gonna spend dreidels all the stereotypical things people think about the Hebrew culture. I would go, hey man, y'all have fun with that. Locks and bagels, bro. Have a good night. I'm not gonna be like, how come I can't come?
unknownMan, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, locks and bagels, Hugh's pulling right up. He's he's oh my god, yeah, all day. Man, give me some extra raw onions, fucking throw that shit on the locks and bagels.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, if he was like, Man, we're gonna you know, have puncted and torta, and you know, we're gonna make that sweet Filipino spaghetti, gonna have some adobo rice. He say, Man, it's Filipino Horde tonight, bro. You can't go. I'm gonna man, why the fuck not? I'm like, Oh man, y'all enjoy man. You know, so I'm at the you know, I'm out, bro. Like, but when we have Africa, like stay your ass over there now.
SPEAKER_10I guess some good Joel off rice. Oh man. Damn bagels. I'm gonna bagel now. I haven't had a good bagel or I'm gonna go order some on Go Belly.
SPEAKER_07One of my homelies was all like, Why did you call that nigga an unshiny donut, bro? Yo, man, I'm trying to make yourself yo.
SPEAKER_10I call I said that same shit I was telling uh reverse glaze. Yeah, I was like, Yeah, reverse you a donut. I'm not donut a fucking bagel. It's reverse glaze, and it's like cream cheese is like like glaze, you know, glaze and cream cheese is like two different types of you know, cream and glaze. It's just you know we get you, brother. Different slang words for um what is it called? Ejaculate.
SPEAKER_07I'm spelling it out for everybody, bro. Thank you. We wouldn't have gotten it.
SPEAKER_05If your shit looks like you should go seek professional help, yeah, but you need to go to the doctor.
SPEAKER_07Especially if it's the same consistency. Oh brother, it might be too late for you. It might be dehydrated a little bit or not.
SPEAKER_05Fucking squeeze that shit out like a toothpaste, like toothpaste.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, goodness. All right, so that's them for that World Cup shit. So it has been a boring news cycle. I think we made all the news last week. Shitting off the fucking what's this other one you put here? Your favorite sneaker collabs of the moment.
SPEAKER_05Uh it was I think it was to bite off of what Complex did. I didn't see the complex list and I sent you that. I was like, uh, because he was like, who's the most hype? Like, what's the most hype collab these days? Like who would you put as the most hype?
SPEAKER_10Oh, the most hype?
SPEAKER_05Like sneaker or shoe shoe related. So he was, you know, is it Travis Scott? Is it I I thought, you know, I was that um coming into the room, right? Like Phil has been doing some crazy shit.
SPEAKER_10The same old.
SPEAKER_05He'll be lining up for that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_10That's the guy who sells the fake. Friend of the show. Friend of this show? Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I like Seth. He's he's been on my I I did a couple I one or two lives with him on TikTok.
SPEAKER_10Wait, isn't this the guy that works for um he does that he he worked for that sneaker company? Yeah, he sells fake, he sold fake sneakers to uh uh um Neville. Really? Yeah, his company. Remember they had that he was part of that company that got all the unreleased shoes, like they got shoes like first. Was that him?
SPEAKER_00I don't remember.
SPEAKER_10Don't don't this many. He's in Atlanta. They used to have this company that used to give um what's his name? Neville. The kid you know talking about Harrison Neville. Used to collab with them all the time. So they used to give him mystery boxes with mad shoes in them, and they found out that a lot of them were fake. This guy used to be part of that thing. I'm not I'm not shitting on him or anything. I don't know. I forgot the name of the show.
SPEAKER_05I will say this the only beef I have with Seth is the one video he did with the fucking ABC Crystal Pumas, and he was kind of praising them, and I'm like, dude. Oh, you got that. You you you you can't be praising that shoe. Nobody has a kind of way.
SPEAKER_10Did he do did he do a uh a Keist Omar type video where he was literally sucking the shoe off in the video?
SPEAKER_05Nah, wasn't quite as bad, but he was like, you could tell he was like, it's cool. I was like, nah, dang, bruh. There's nothing cool about that shoe.
SPEAKER_07What's the name? Um bouncing back from that one. ABC uh reputation took a hit with that job. I agree. I'm like, meanwhile, Bape was all like, yeah, let's just re-release the patent leather babes again. Fuck it. Let me show you how hot to do this real quick. Let's cut this bullshit out, man. Stop that, man.
SPEAKER_05I'll tell you though, I got some I got some babes not that long ago. Man, I'm done. I won't buy bape anymore. I just their shoes, the quality is well, first of all, their t-shirts are always too small, so for me. But their shoes, the quality just isn't for what the price point is on a on a I just think the quality is trash anymore. The leather quality shit, the die wears off. I mean, at least on the and I bought direct, so these this wasn't resale. So I just had issues, quality issues with them. More so than acceptable, especially when you're paying over 300 bucks a pair. I mean, come on.
SPEAKER_07I will say they would give me hook line of sinker if they continue their patent leather babes to Marvel Club or reissue some of the old ones, or some of the DC Comics ones. Y'all got me every time because those were grails for me going growing up. I'm too apprehensive to buy a pair on the aftermarket because I'm like, they're probably fake or they're gonna be way too expensive. But um, nah, man, those have me as a comic book fan and a sneaker person and a lover of Japanese culture, a lover of you know, collectible stuff, it checks all the boxes for me, and the fact that it comes in a little card stock box, you know, it does man does a lot of favors, man.
SPEAKER_05I meant to ask you, Kari, did you watch One Piece?
SPEAKER_07The live actors, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yo, I thought that shit was good. It's man, as a person who's watched the anime, read the manga, and it's because I believe Oda San is with them hand in hand producing it, man. Yes, of course. Everyone's like, they miss so much, brother. The episode count is in the four digits, yes, brother. Yeah, they're gonna miss some stuff, but the re the realization of it and live action, man. I enjoyed both seasons, and I'm looking forward to the next one.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, me too. I I thought it was a great series, good messaging, too, like super positive.
SPEAKER_07The live action anime adaptations Netflix is done. They need to start going from now on. If I'm not working with the people who created the source material, we shouldn't do it. Because Cowboy Bebop was bad, Death Note was bad. I found things to like about you, Hawker Show, but I'm biased. That's one of my favorite shows of all time, anime or otherwise. Oh, it's so much stuff I could have complained about, but I'm like, bro, I was just happy to see Use K bust out that rigging the live action. I didn't give a shit. So, you know, they got a lot of blemishes, but One Piece is not one of them for me.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I agree.
SPEAKER_07And it's coming at the right time because they about to do the uh one piece remake.
SPEAKER_10One piece remake. Oh, are they?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, so they rebooting it, new art style, new animation, cutting out a lot of the filler. This is supposed to be the entry point to people who got into One Piece from the live action, who've always been mean to get in, but that four digit episode count is like disheartening. This is where you start. So I'm gonna be there for that too. Y'all, if y'all didn't know I'm a nerd, y'all didn't know that people watching at home. Like, I'm I'm a consumerist nerd for popcorn.
SPEAKER_05Just knowledgeable, just knowledgeable.
SPEAKER_07I still fuck you up, man. I'm licensed to carry. So don't let them comic books fool you.
SPEAKER_10What if it took all this stuff down? I forgot the name of the company. You're still looking for that shit.
SPEAKER_04What are you doing, man?
SPEAKER_10No, I just I'm just caught up on this. I need to find out what the fucking name of that company was for. A D capital H D, bruh.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Um, it's yeah, it's is it's at this point. I want an armchair diagnose, but boy, you checking a lot of boxes.
SPEAKER_10It's a condition people have it. Don't be racist. I got it. Let's see, let's see. I forgot the name of it. It's so used to me, it's bio too. I don't even know what you're looking for. I even forgot what you were looking for. He said Seth was it the poison not poison, poison's a reselling platform, yeah. Poison. What are you thinking of? What else could you be thinking of? No, he took them down. This is back in 2022. This happened. He used to be part of the. Yeah, so he used to work for this company that used to get like and he used to send the exclusive shoes. He used to send they they used to send Harrison Neville.
SPEAKER_07I mean, why don't you put the chip and type Harrison Neville mystery box?
SPEAKER_10I did.
SPEAKER_07Oh, okay. I wasn't familiar with your game, Lane.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, so um, I think he might have taken all those videos down. That's why it's not showing up on Google anymore. There's a couple of Reddit things about it, but it's about the PlayStation dunk from that one of the boxes I think that he pulled.
SPEAKER_07First off, you mean the Travis PlayStation dunk that they only made five of?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so he got it.
SPEAKER_10Then I don't know.
SPEAKER_07Could be real. There's real ones floating around, right? Uh where Travis's house, the president of Sony's house, big boy Chen's house. Like got two pairs left. Perfect pair, and now he's being called a fraudulent collector.
SPEAKER_10Oh, yeah, they they the guy who uh called him out made another, made like a video on him.
SPEAKER_07But let's be honest, the guy who called him out has gotten a ton of shit wrong in the back, too.
SPEAKER_10Oh, I know, but either way, I I I trust perfect pair more than I trust of the other guy, but also like it's so you know, to Jeff Staple's point, it's about the culture and it's very subjective. I'll give him that much. Like, if you care, you care. If you don't, you don't. I don't care.
SPEAKER_07I mean, I don't give a shit because I am not in that realm to even look at auctions of sneakers of that magnitude. And to be honest, I like wearing my shoes. The amount of shoes that I could put on my feet for Michael Jordan's big sloppy ass size 13s that he wore in 1998, bro. I don't want that. I have YouTube, I can watch that clip over and over again. Slow motion, black and white, but uh chat GPT with a unicorn in the back. I don't need to own the foot sweat of Michael Jeffrey Jordan. What's this face jam? Play like him.
SPEAKER_05Wait, hot off the press, Claude Lemieux.
SPEAKER_10Suicide soccer player? I mean not soccer hockey. Yeah, Claude Lemieux. Killed himself at 60.
SPEAKER_07I think that's what suicide means, ain't you?
SPEAKER_10Was that Mario Lemieux's brother? Are they related? Probably.
SPEAKER_06I'm looking at I don't follow hockey like that anymore.
SPEAKER_01I just know this guy was pretty good.
SPEAKER_10He's a right winger.
SPEAKER_05He was a uh didn't he I think it's one Stanley Cup.
SPEAKER_10He was on his Stanley Cup. He played the right wing though, but he's also he's a right winger. Is he really? I don't know if he just right winger, but I knew he played the right. I was about to say, how do you know his political? Uh it's a right winger. It says it on his uh Wikipedia.
SPEAKER_07That's gonna be the future of this country. It's gonna start saying liberal or right winger and the bias.
SPEAKER_10It's gonna be the political parties. They're not gonna be Democrat, Republicans, liberal or right winger. The liberal or white pick up. He was in the hall of fame, he didn't have a varsity career here, and he's not related to Mario Lemieux. They would definitely put that on here. He's not related.
unknownDang.
SPEAKER_10Mario Lemieux is good. This guy got a great name though, Claude. I like Claude, that's a cool name.
SPEAKER_07That's interesting.
SPEAKER_10R.I.P. Claude Lemieux. I don't know why you killed yourself, but must have been a good reason. Must have been here first. Life and death. I called him Mario. Oh, wait. Wait, he he was the older brother of former Jock Lemieux. He was not related to Hockey Hall of Fame Mario. Okay. They just had why'd they put that in here? Like they know people like you was wondering that.
SPEAKER_05Because all of us said, yo, is he related to Mario? And we're like, no, but like that's irrelevant information.
SPEAKER_10It's just putting it in there for clout. Like, you got the same Rash name. Um, he died today. No, I didn't say suicide was about the clout, I said it's on his Wikipedia for clout. Assuming that he made it, he wouldn't get clout from it. I mean, you can look for Mario Lemieux, he comes up as one of the links. That's why. Uh, so he died today. Good job, Drew, of investigative reporting that it was determined he had died in suicide hanging after his body was found by one of his sons around 3 a.m. Damn, his son found him. I can't even imagine find my you know finding my one of my parents or a loved one hanging from a rope.
SPEAKER_05I can tell you it's brutal, bro. I can tell you it's brutal.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's terrible. Well, RIP, just take a moment to recognize the importance in this crazy hobby of checking up on your people and your mental health like this yoga or someone around you. I know we talk a lot of shit on the show, and I know a bunch of assholes talking about sneakers for now. Hey, look, brother, we still people at the end of the day, and real shit still exists. This is our escape for about an hour or two to catch up with some friends and talk about current events that at the end of the day just get us to another 24, man. So well said, man. Claude Lemieux, may you rest. May your family find the strength. And it's time, whatever you believe in, or whomever you believe in, Claude's family, our family, your family. We just gotta try to make it.
SPEAKER_10Um, last thing, uh, because I know you two gotta go soon. Um, since you did listen and marinate on the Drake album, what are your thoughts so far? Or now that you've given it a good?
SPEAKER_07Um couple things, and I know it's gonna sound a lot similar to what Greg said. In the words of Drake to Meek Mills, I don't want to hear about the shit ever again. This whole be this was the time he did have to respond. Everyone's like, it took him two years. Look, the Drake, Kendrick, the LeBron, the DeMar DeRozans, the Rick Ross, the objectively, that did a number on his mental health.
SPEAKER_10Like it would do anybody else, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, so you know the rollout was a little clunky, but when it comes to streams, when it comes to the feeds, when it comes to the quotes being listed in people's posts, he stuck the landing. Whether also, like Greg said, friend of the show, general friend in uh overall from the sneak this podcast, for those who are not familiar, you don't have to be like, I'm a Kendrick fan, first and foremost. Bro, just like the shit for what it is. You don't have to clarify that you're a Kendrick fan, and if you're a Drake fan. Who did listen to not like us? I was always 10 toes with Drake. None of these men know you exist. Okay. They only see you as a stream in the minus H who knows Drake. It doesn't matter. You could like this album and still be like, Yeah, Kendrick's still my favorite MC, but you don't gotta tell the world that don't nobody care, bruh. This is not your political party, this is not gang affiliation, this is not Hatfield's McCoy's. This is not the Civil War band. Don't nobody care, bruh. But have not listened to Habiti or Maid of Honor. Did listen to Iceman. He responded to who he needed to respond to. He did go at Kendrick quite a few times. He hit some, he and LeBron quite a few times. He gave Khal the smack on the back of his head. And honestly, yeah, you still gotta keep addressing Ross because he's still talking crazy to you. But like, yeah, bro, solid. For every crazy bar he had, he had some super corny ones. But that is part for the course for Drake. Because Drake has said some super corny shit before him and Kendrick starts to squabble. If you've been a Drake fan, you'll like it. If you don't take this beef shit to heart, like some of these grown adults, I notice everybody that's taking sides in the beef shit and sending memes and reposting billboard stream numbers all over the age of 30. Like no well-adjusted person or no kids that's about to enjoy their summer vacation is giving a shit about this. Enjoy this goddamn music, bruh. Like hip hop needs these men, whether you team Kendrick, team Drake, or in between hip-hop they don't need Kendrick.
SPEAKER_10Ken the Kendrick Kendrick goes away for five years and life goes on.
SPEAKER_07Nobody cares. And then when he dropped, people go crazy for it. So I ain't I ain't asked your opinion, you asked me mine. So people need this discourse in a healthy sense. When Drake was gone, there was a vacuum when it comes to numbers in the mainstream eyes being on rap and hip hop. You know what I'm saying? Um, where will it rank for me over time in Drake's projects? I need to spin it again. I didn't hate it. And I'm neutral. Still be top top five for me. I just I just like music, you know what I'm saying? I did listen for the beef bars, and after that, I was like, how do I feel about some of these songs? I do feel some of these people are wearing some of these songs out, but that's the Drake summer cycle, bro. I'm gonna keep hearing me bang me for the next like three months. All of my ups they did for the next three months. And I ain't gonna lie. But I'm yeah, man. If you a Drake hater, man, but you got a streaming service like Spotify, Apple Music, man, just listen to that shit. Give it a give it give it a space. Good. You know, true.
SPEAKER_01Did you listen to it yet?
SPEAKER_05I haven't.
SPEAKER_07It is a commitment, though. Like I said, I haven't listened to the other two. It's a commitment.
SPEAKER_05I'm not a huge Drake fan, so I just And you know what?
SPEAKER_07I'm glad you said that. If you're not a huge Drake fan and you got other shit to do, hey, I might want to watch Spider-Man Noir, go to the movies, watch Mandalorian Grogu. I got Moda Long. You know what I'm saying? If you're not a big Drake fan, don't rush to listen to it because it's not for you. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's a good album. I would say objectively, I would call it solid.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, it's good. It did its purpose. Um, he's about to make Buku Bucks on the New Deal, and um I can say this that people to your point who jumped out the window on like review, like Fantano, who I lost a lot of respect for after his review.
SPEAKER_07A prolific drink hater.
SPEAKER_10I don't think that's it's gotten to the point where he's being exposed because of this because it's got like a few years ago. Remember they they outed him for being like a racist fucking Nazi, you know, like whatever. Like he used to be on on Reddit forums and different places doing like um you know what they call a shit posting and and dropping end bombs. And he's not a hip-hop guy either. He just he's just a music guy in general, yeah. But he's not like I see he doesn't he doesn't look at that objectively, and then that journalist Torrey, who I kinda like, but he's kind of in his feelings and old Torrey Torrey. You've heard of him. He's a I'm probably SNBC. You know who he is, right, Drew Torrey? He's like a he was the he's a 90s, he was the guy, like he used to interview all the rappers, he turned into more political journalists in the early 2000s and you've seen him. That sounds so familiar. Yeah, he's old now, but he jumped out. Like Sway hating. No, not Sway. This is Torrey. He's uh he's but I I I'm very familiar with his work. He used to write for a lot of publications I read, but he did a whole he's been hating on Drake for years now. Um, and he's just on this culture vulture shit and all that. And him and Fantano did a video together. I don't respect that because they both have like these personal vendettas. And the weird thing about, and I'm gonna I I'm I I brought this up to um to show me when we talked about it. Drake sits adjacent to guy, like he hangs around guys like Aiden Ross, right? And everybody criticizes him for it. Like, why are you hanging out with Aiden Ross? He's a horrible person. And if we think back to all our favorite rappers from the 2000s and the 90s, who are they hanging out with? I know you I know what you're about to say. You are drug dealers. No, I'm just saying, look, Dr.
SPEAKER_07Dre and Snoop Dogg, they were hanging out with a gangster named Shook Knight. I thought you I thought you were gonna talk about you know how back in the day, you know, you always could catch rappers thumbs up and next to Trump, you know, before they figure out how much Trump, whatever.
SPEAKER_10You know, I mean yeah, they rapped about that's not even I'm talking about like who they really hung out with. LO Cool J used to know all the drug dealers like uh what is it, Fred McGriff or whatever. Um, um like 50 Cent, obviously. He he was a drug dealer, he but he they hung out with drug notorious drug dealers in in Queens. Um fucking BMF, young Jeezy was in BMF, they put him on, like they they funded his whole thing, you know. So it's like how Drake hangs out with a kid who streams. Okay. Like it's because Aiden Ross.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's a weak ass shit argument. Like the people you're naming, I mean, it's kind of the grit that they brought to the music, right? Like that was the the grit and the grime from the way that they kind of ran in the streets was their music. You felt it in their music. Okay, Drake hanging out with a streamer. I don't, you know, I mean, like, I don't see the correlation between who does Drake talk to, though. I have no clue. Like I said, I don't really know. My Drake knowledge doesn't go that deep.
SPEAKER_10That generation, this generation, watches Aiden Ross, watches Kai Sinat. You know, he would have probably done a stream with Kai if Kai was still streaming. Uh he was he he he he he's friends with all these guys, so uh it's not out of bounds to say that he hangs out with them and whatever, but people criticizing him for that is weak. And also, like these the rappers, they'd be at the club standing right next to the drug dealer that's famous or whatever. And that's that, yeah, they talk into the streets, but Drake is not from the streets, never claimed to be from the streets. You talk gangster and shit, but whatever. It's just but that's just you know, it's all part of the show. Yeah, it's just ghostwriters, whatever. But like, I can't take that as an honest critique of him, you know, like, oh, you're you're the company you keep. Like, come on, bro. There's some real gangsters out there that kill people and do all this other shit. And you're talking about him hanging out with some 20-year-old kid who just you know taps around being racist and shit like that, which is you know, everybody's a little racist.
SPEAKER_08So you can't even all right.
SPEAKER_10I don't see color, so that's a crazy. But that's that's a crazy everyone's a little racist, everybody is. You don't think so?
SPEAKER_07I'll say something.
SPEAKER_05Strike for the record.
SPEAKER_10Everybody's a little little prejudice, a little racist, everybody has everybody, everybody, everybody.
SPEAKER_07Nah, my god, baby, nah. She adorable.
SPEAKER_10Oh, kids are probably not until they learn something from an adult. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Racism and prejudice is learned, it's learned behavior. But you all ever not everything is like, you know, not everybody's equal, not everybody's all in the same thing.
SPEAKER_07I mean, to be honest, I low-key. I can't believe I'm saying this. I must be tired. I low key kind of get what you're saying. Like, saying someone's body of music is lame because they hang out with motherfuckers like academics and Aiden Ross, is like they might be like, we can all agree Drake is corny. Like, yeah, he's done some corny shit. He does, yeah. Yeah, but it's just like is the is the song fight? It's like that that little viral post that goes around that says everything that Jay-Z does looks unathletic. Yeah, he looked goofy when he be doing stuff, but I'm like, that's also like Jay-Z though, but we're not about to sit here and Jay Z's this whole dial like blue burn.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, when you go through stages of life, man, your whole the way you look at the world changes. Look at the way you I don't know if you watched them interviews Jay did recently, but he's he's talking about other shit that doesn't, he's like rap beef, whatever. Fuck that. Like I gotta make a billion dollars today and buy some art. Like, he don't give a fuck about no kids yelling at each other, you know. These kids, these these guys were literal toddlers when he was ascending, you know, when he was when he was winning Grammy back. No, when he was out in the street, no, no, Ken 1999. No, we're talking like 96 and 96. They were like maybe nine, 10 years old, or whatever. Drake era people, yeah, like those people that that listened to his music that came up on his music. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I was more formidable of age. Uh, Drew was like neck and neck with him as far as like um you know, listening to that music growing up. So it's yeah, it impacted our lives in a different way, and it impacts everyone on down a different way. They were influenced by the art, we were influenced by the lifestyle more so because I wanted to be a drug dealer.
SPEAKER_05That's all I wanted. Exactly. Yeah, literally, it's all I wanted to be.
SPEAKER_10Our generation, yeah, yeah. Our generation wanted that. We we we sold the drugs, your generation bought the drugs. Sorry, that's just the way it went, and that's why y'all are fucked up. So not not you specifically, your generation. But I'm sorry, I didn't I didn't sell it to you personally, but I did blast it out my window. And Drake is a product of that, uh, you know, and he talks to another generation. And the reason why he's on top still is because he literally just does stuff like hang out with streamers and and keeps current. He hasn't gone to that point where he settled into his skin and just kind of says, let me hear my let my hair grow wild and wear sweatsuits all day. And it kind of reminds me of uh Kanye.
SPEAKER_07He's not there yet. No, but I'm saying this latest project bully, he's got like Pesto Pluma on there, and he's he's doing a little bit of reggaeton, and he's got you know, he's still collaborating with Travis Scott. Like Travis Scott is his protege. You got Travis Scott at a concert that's so loud that the rumblings from the stadium registered as a mini earthquake, and he's saying stuff like there would be no Travis Scott without Kanye. You still gotta tap into the newer generations in order to get that appeal. Because to be honest, you forget damn Kanye like late 40s, bro. Yeah, Drake's mid 40s. No, no, no, he's in the he's 50.
SPEAKER_10Kanye's 50? Yeah, he's three years older than me. I think he's just turned 50.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I did listen to the bully album. I'll I'll say that. What'd you think of it?
SPEAKER_10Listen to Kanye? You didn't tell me. I was begging you, I've been begging you.
SPEAKER_05You didn't even tell me, bro. Preacher man, I was that I got that, yeah. That shit.
SPEAKER_07It's that other one. Um, ooh. I can't wait. Father the father's great. Yeah, yeah. It's another one that's drawing my uh draw. I'm drawing the blank on. Punch drunk. I love punch drunk. Punch drunk is it makes me happy in the morning, brother.
SPEAKER_05It's been a while since I've listened to a whole album, and I listened to multiple, and I was like, you know.
SPEAKER_07My criticisms is sometimes when the songs really start getting, I'm like, damn, I wish this was a little longer.
SPEAKER_05Longer. Yeah, yeah. He did the format.
SPEAKER_07He didn't overstay his music, but that's smart for his time coming back. That was smart. Yeah, man. I know Kanye was been saying some wild shit. That's undeniable. I know the shipping times for products is boy, we should be filing a class action. All the love, all the love. That's the song with that on. Um the but I said, man, he he'll make you really go, man, fuck. I like this, man. Fuck. That yeah, keeps you in conflict.
SPEAKER_10Always keeping you in conflict. Bully's a good song with CeeLo Green. Like a bully. Yeah. Yeah. I can't waste my favorite record on there. I can't wait. But White Lines is great too. That's a good one. Well, uh, Andrew Chalmard did a really good job on this album with him.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, because the way I listened to um what's that one with Pesto Pluma? I don't know. I skipped that shit. I'm glad that's short. I hate the album version, but the sample version that's less synthetic slaps. And I like Circle when they still had Don Tolliver on it. It was better with Don on it.
SPEAKER_10I don't know why he's not on the album version anymore, but oh, the one that they that 30-minute video, you actually listen to that shit, the whole thing on YouTube.
SPEAKER_07I didn't see the video.
SPEAKER_10No, there's a 30-minute video that has all the like precause you're talking about the unreleased shit. Yeah, I didn't listen to the stuff like that.
SPEAKER_07But they put out that 30.
SPEAKER_00I didn't listen to it.
SPEAKER_07I listened to Kanye West. He gone he's gonna uh save the final draft 30 times before. Oh, yeah. I'm just happy Drew listened to Kanye. I'm shocked that he listened to Kanye.
SPEAKER_05Go find that that I told you, I like Kanye music. I just don't like Kanye as a person, yeah.
SPEAKER_10What are you talking about? I like Kanye as the person.
SPEAKER_07The pigeon dunks, man, they had a moment, even though it was fucked Jeff Stable. You see what you see what you see what you just did?
SPEAKER_10I like the pigeon dunks. I said I I they're it's a good shoe. I'd resell it if I ever got it. It's a gray fucking dunk, though. You know what?
SPEAKER_05We need we need to end every episode with you just popping off about fucking Jeff Stable.
SPEAKER_10This is literally realistically, come on, bro. Let me I'm not trying to ruin this man's like legacy or anything. I don't know. He's done it himself. Yes. See, uh there we go. Easy layout. You gave it to me. You just holly oop. Um, nah, but he's just it's just not cool. I'm sorry, Jeff, if you're out there. Sorry. No, you're not. That's Captain. No, you're not. Come on, man. And it's not really my fault. It's this guy's fault. Dakari. How's that my fault? It's your fault because you keep bringing it up. You're making this nonsense relevant. And this guy, he'd come on here wearing a whole fit. I remember you did that one day. You know what?
SPEAKER_05Next week, I'm gonna wear the entire staple fit. I'm gonna wear the hat, the hoodie. I got some fucking staple shorts. I'll put on my staple shoes. I don't got them. You got some of them shoes? Yeah, I got I got I got a couple pairs.
SPEAKER_10The brook, you get the brooks for like $50 if you want.
SPEAKER_05No, I got I got the I got the SBs, I got the and I realized why people were buying those.
SPEAKER_10So with running shoes or those types of shoes, I and I've done this before. When they stop making it, because they go from like Pegasus 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, when they stop making the shoe, and the aftermarket becomes hot where the runners and people who use it as an everyday walker want the shoe so bad they'll pay anything. So that adrenaline Brooks model that he did, people were looking for that shoe and trying to find a cheap version of it. Like to wear it every day to go grocery shopping and shit. And they saw, oh look, this one's cheaper than the the one, the retail regular one, and they went and bought that. Brother, that is the most copian bullshit you have said in a long time.
SPEAKER_07I I I've sold free run twos for $250. It's the same thing that Nike does all the time, they got a new model and they get the ball rolling on the GRs, they do a collab.
SPEAKER_10No, but with the retros, bro, like like they retroed free run twos a couple of years ago, or three, four years ago, and I bought a bunch of them because I was like, you know how you think that old technology because you liked it when it was good. It was so free runs were my favorite shoe for running. That shoe is not comfortable at all, and my feet were much better when I was 32 or whatever. Start to age and you're free runs.
SPEAKER_07Technology also progresses, yeah. I give it.
SPEAKER_10Oh, yeah, there was no no padding on those shoes. That was that era of Nike running where they were like, Oh, let's make it feel like you're running barefoot. Shout out to Toby Hatfield.
SPEAKER_07Oh, you know, yeah, but no, brother, like that's where that shoe felt. Yeah, GTS was having a they they're trying to get the like Peter Very's doing a lot of seeding and a lot of marketing, man. Jay-Z was wearing them the other day. Shout out, everybody, everybody was like, damn.
SPEAKER_10Shout out, they do they're doing a good job with that thing, but they don't need any more Jeff Staples collabs because they ain't moving. Okay, they're giving those out as promo. I heard um, oh, you listen to Slock Jig's pocket. Damn, we should talk about that too. He went off on everything. Shout out to Slock Jig. I fuck with him.
SPEAKER_07Huh? I didn't finish it.
SPEAKER_10I don't think I finished it.
SPEAKER_07I had to Sock Jig, friend of the show, political. Um, yeah, yeah. I was uh doing a lot of errands today, but it will be finished tomorrow, tell you that much.
SPEAKER_10Yeah. I don't know if Drew, I don't know if Drew would appreciate it. You know, that's funny. Our our all of us are different when it comes to our viewpoint of the culture. I think. I think Carrier, you're like the more intellectual, like you really get into the thing. Drew is like the I just like sneakers. I can't wait to hear this. What box are you putting me in today? You're a purist, like just a guy who likes sneakers. And and and because you can tell by the people you keep around you, you are with real sneaker heads. I can't be around those people. I can't like no these guys, I can't. It's just not I can't I it's I'm not putting you in this category. I think some of those guys that you hang out with would probably, if somebody said, yo, we got all your sneakers here, and we're gonna murder your wife if you don't give us the sneakers. Oh, they probably let their wife get murdered for that sneaker.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, let me let me tell you something real quick. Let me let me let me put you on something.
SPEAKER_10I'm not saying like all of them. I'm saying that I can see that.
SPEAKER_05When I hang out with my sneaker friends, like the group of guys we all we don't talk about sneakers.
SPEAKER_10That's different. I'm talking about when you're talking about sneakers.
SPEAKER_03Uh we're talking about it.
SPEAKER_10We don't talk about sneakers. When we're doing the sneaker podcast, everybody's perspective is different. That's what I mean. Like if we had like like Eddie is totally in like I don't think Eddie would maybe, I don't know, if he'd give up somebody's life for a sneaker.
SPEAKER_07I'm not gonna they're not giving up their life for a sneaker.
SPEAKER_10Come on, that's crazy. It's a bad metaphor, but terrible, it's whatever. You know, I always always like life or sneakers. Shit, then that just says something about me. Maybe I shit somebody all your sneakers or your or your dog or something. I'm like, hmm, think about it. But you can always buy them. I I love my dog, but then it's like shit, how long do I have to get to the house? Or are you serious? Like, what are we doing? Wow. I don't think I'd do that. Truffle's great. Anyway, but that that whole thing, like uh, you're purists, you're like you you like you like your shoes, you have a certain perspective, your favorite brands, and all this stuff, and you you you essentially try anything. He dips his toe into every piece of shit. I just like fashion.
SPEAKER_05I like to put a fit together, so I I I wouldn't say fashion. You're definitely not brand. What? I got more fashion sense than you ever had.
SPEAKER_04I don't think we dress this.
SPEAKER_05You will ever have.
SPEAKER_10You're right, for good reason. Yeah, but I don't I'm not I'm like, I'm not a okay, I'm not gonna I'm look, we we don't we're not gonna go here go fit for fit. I'm not gonna go play that game with you because I got some I'm not that I'll pull out something. I mean when I feel like doing something, like can't win.
SPEAKER_04You can't win, concede. You can't win, concede. You can't win. Concede. I'll crush you in high fashion, I'll crush you in street wear, I'll crush you in casual wear. Damn. I don't think so.
SPEAKER_10All right, battle, bro.
SPEAKER_07We have to have a fit battle. Come on, take the battle.
SPEAKER_10I don't, but I'm not like a look, my daily fit, you know, is a is a white t-shirt, dirty white t-shirt, by the way.
SPEAKER_07I'll take take the take the ticket day off. I don't wear clean white tees.
SPEAKER_10We'll come up with a theme and we'll see who rags harder, bro. Yeah, I just like to sass him though. I just I know he doesn't I can tell he he's serious. He's already thinking about it. I'm gonna wear this tomorrow. Next week is gonna be staples from head to toe. He'll get a pigeon tattoo on his face, too. That's all right.
SPEAKER_05That would actually you just gave me an idea. I'm gonna get the pigeon tattooed on the heel of my foot. Why?
SPEAKER_10Just like the sneaker getting a tramp stamp on your heel? That's fucking gay, yo.
SPEAKER_05It's not a tramp stamp.
SPEAKER_10How the fuck is that a tramp stamp? I don't know what it is. It's fucking that it's not it's not to troll you. It's just terrible. Don't do that to yourself, man. You're gonna destroy your body to troll me?
SPEAKER_05I'm covered in tattoos, believe me. I have a couple ones that are already.
SPEAKER_10You're gonna waste the money and the time. You know how much time that is like two, three hours of your life gone. And it's painful because those places where you know it's there's a lot of blood.
SPEAKER_05I have a tattoo on my heel already.
SPEAKER_10So you're gonna put more just to just to troll me? And you can't, it's not even visible. You have to put your feet in the camera to show us, and we don't want to see that.
SPEAKER_05Some people you don't want to see that. I get paid good money on my OnlyFans for my feet, bro. Tell them, tell them where can they find you?
SPEAKER_10Drew's shoes, Drew's feet, Drew's feet, Drew's feet with two T's, Drew's feet with two T's.
SPEAKER_04We all gotta eat.
SPEAKER_10We all gotta eat. Yo, OnlyFans is a is a good gig if you could get it. Shout out to the OnlyFans models who do it right. That's right. Is it a way to do it wrong?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, the ones that ain't making no money. I don't know. That seems more like a skill issue than an OnlyFans.
SPEAKER_10I think I like if I was to pay, I never pay for pussy. Besides dating and stuff, you're always paying, but so you're married, bro. Yes you do.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, you pay every day.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, but you don't like paying for like a prostitute or um an OnlyFans or porn in general, it's no point. It's free.
SPEAKER_05Rub and tug.
SPEAKER_10That's different. I wouldn't do that, but I think that's different. How's that different? It's like you're paying somebody to do something that you can do yourself. So you're paying for convenience. That's what rich people do. You would know. Robert Kraft did it, right?
SPEAKER_07Robert Kraft's probably still doing it.
SPEAKER_10I mean, if I had the bread, I'd do it too. If I was single and had the bread, I had to go in there. You come to my house though. I wouldn't like Dang Shannon Sharp. Shannon Sharp, yo. Talk about a Puss Hound, man. He he messed, you know, he lost the bag. That's why, yo, he don't get you. See how he changed after that whole thing happened? He don't even wear nice clothes no more, yo. He be on there. I saw him wearing a teenage mutant ninja turtles t-shirt with a dirty gray beard a couple weeks ago on his show. Man, it was it was laundry day, bro. No, it was uh OnlyFans model got half my money day. That's what it was.
SPEAKER_07Did she get half his money or did she just ruin his future bag?
SPEAKER_1050 mil, I heard.
unknownDang.
SPEAKER_10Or 20 mil getting that as a settlement? I heard she sued for 50 and I said they settled for like 20 or something. I don't even know. She got a lot of money though. I'm I'm making I don't know what it is, but it was it was you know eight figures easily. Easily. That man hasn't been the same since. And like the show is still great. I think he's been doing his thing, but he did lose a big sponsorship from that. That that would have been like life-changing where he didn't have to probably worry about anything. He should start OnlyFans. Put the next wagons on the map. He start one? Oh, but like manage them? No, like do his own content. Oh, you talk about me. I thought he was um he should. He got he probably got a nice stable. What are you gonna do? Anyway. All right. You guys wanna rap?
SPEAKER_05Let's rap.
SPEAKER_10Shout out to the Knicks, by the way. NBA championship.
SPEAKER_07That's crazy. Crazy Easter Conference Finals champions, baby, going to the big show against Shane Lamb.
SPEAKER_10Yeah.
SPEAKER_09And then you think the Knicks is gonna win?
SPEAKER_10I don't know if they're gonna win, but they better start refereeing these games properly, though.
SPEAKER_03NBA refs are trash.
SPEAKER_10The one hand, they are just dog. Did you see these videos where they're literally high-fiving the OKC players? They're like, yo, good job on that call, ref. Like, the fuck? Yo, they just haven't just as the KSA is the script. I mean, they did endorse that the it's OKC Thunder and New York Knicks already.
SPEAKER_07He said I mean they kind of gas and win be out, though, bro. So it's a logical explanation, you know, a logical conclusion, I should say, to draw.
SPEAKER_10He needs a little more muscle, man. He gotta go on a high protein diet. Drew, you gotta get him on your uh gotta get him up to like 280. He's a buck 10, right?
SPEAKER_07At that frame, dude. Him at 280. That man built like a creative character on a video game, bro. Yeah. Ain't no way.
SPEAKER_10He gets up to 280 and could jump. He don't even have to jump. He's seven foot five. So he just has to just be solid. He is solid, kinda. He has bulked up a lot since his freshman year.
